Christmas Morning

New bikes!

Candy! The best part!

James' present to Dad

But apparently Henry needed a snack!

Matching PJs for Kate and her new American Girl doll

After opening presents we had our stomped potatoes and cinnamon rolls then hopped in the car and drove to Ogden!

3 generations of Phipps boys

Christmas Eve

The nativity for morning scripture study. Kate was our angel, Sam was Joseph, Henry was some sort of animal and James doesn't like to dress up :) but at least he agreed to be in the picture!

Decorating gingerbread cookies

Reindeer food on the front lawn

Christmas Eve dinner- Dad's chimichangas. Our new tradition- one chimichanga has something special cooked inside and whoever gets it gets to open the first present Christmas morning!

We love our Charlie Brown Christmas tree!

Pre- Christmas Fun

The Golden Christmas Parade-we love those sunny Denver days!

We had to deliver some Christmas gifts down south so we made a trip of it and visited the Temple!

Henry with his best buddy Andrew at the Ward Christmas party

Time for cookies!

Sam's preschool Christmas celebration

The Phipps Phamily annual Christmas tree hunt 2011

Success! We found the one (although it looks like not everyone is happy about it!)

Another successful tree hunt deserves some hot chocolate!

By the time we get home, measure the tree and set it up we're too tired to decorate it. This year we put the lights on the kids instead!

Phipps Phun!

These are pictures of daily life I just couldn't leave out

Sam is our master builder. He loves his trio blocks- he can build weapons and airplanes!

This is what happens when we leave out the ketchup!

Friday movie night!

The chair stage- our little kitchen always seems to have chairs right in the middle- but how else could they  experiment with the kitchen faucet?

Cute kids ready for the Primary Program- my most favorite Sunday of the year!

Sam, Henry and I took advantage of a nice fall day and our zoo pass

Love these brothers!

James' first Cello recital- Twinkle graduation!

Sam is 5!

Sam chose ChuckECheese this year for his birthday. He was one happy camper! Then we came home and had pizza, cake and opened presents. Sam is loving preschool. He goes 4 days a week in the mornings. He's learning to write his name and the beginning and ending sounds of words. He is super friendly and always is asking to have his preschool friends over. He loves to build things especially airplanes out of paper or his trio blocks. He's a master puzzler too. We love you Sam!
