Never would I've thought...
It feels so much like a freaking Friday but sadly, it's not. I've been soaking in this dismal mood since what happened last night. Thought I was right anyway but all those communications went downhill and I missed out a couple of photos that was supposed to be in the video. I did feel weird tho when I did the video, wondering why my cousin only wanted these selected photos when there was a long list of photos that she has handed over to me in her thumbdrive. I'm happy that I'm finally done with it but at the same time I felt a huge pail of unaccomplishment poured over me. It's silly little mistakes like that and all goes wrong from there. I tell myself, "It's okay, it's okay." I broke down eventually. It's little things like that that breaks me because at the end of the day, you know how much effort you've put into that whole video for a wedding event. Anyway I'll be a proud owner of an iTouch Generation 2 soon BAYBEH! Always be prepared, Marj

The rare and not so rare
![]() Just how often do we hear Gabriel Heinze scoring? Not very. In fact, we hardly hear of defenders scoring with the exceptions of Ferdinand and Vidic who are really dominant in air because they are tall beans. Well, I'm happy for this dad over here who scored. Reminded me of his first goal for Manchester United back then when he debuted against Bolton. If that wasn't good enough, Ruud v.Nistelrooy scored the winning goal against Real Betis. Just how many goals do that dutch daddy of 2 score? He never fails to score in every match he plays, which is the reason why Manchester United bought him in 2001 and wanted to keep their prized possession but because of those soured player-manager r/s 5 years later, he felt that it was of his best interest that he leave for a club that would want him. Eventually it resulted in a much happier father of 2 who brings goals (once again) to his new team. Of course that wasn't much of a good thing for Manchester United who lost a player who brought them so many goals with the gifted left foot but then there was Berbatov, who wants to play in a red jersey than a white. I was really devastated at Ruud's departure to Real Madrid because he is such an entralling professional player apart from the number of goals he scored(100 goals in 121 games, 79 in the penalty box). But well you gota just move on if the place isn't right for you which is why the word (market/club/player)transfer exist in the soccer dictionary. Anywho, I hope to get a jam packed december filled with holidays! Were suppose to go to Japan but looks like now it's Australia. Please please tell me that well go eventually because I do not wish to get stuck in this island. It will be nice to have to travel to Malaysia after coming back from Japan/Australia, if the dates are confirmed! If not then it's sadly either one. Off to watch the F1 Singtel Race(on teevee)! (Can't believe I'm so excited about it but well it's the CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE LAST DAY OF THE EVENT). Heinze is becoming like Ferdinand and Vidic. Labels: gabriel heinze, ruud van nistelrooy

D-day
I hereby annouce that as of today, Sept 19th 2008, Friday, is the day that I've conquered my fear of heights by completing the whole high rope obstacle consisting of 4 challenges, after much insane and noisy screaming from fear at the inside of the adventure tower. Always be prepared, Marjory

Go go go Chicago Red Stars
After so long...the WPS allocations are finally out! It was an overnight of trepidation waiting to see who will be playing for who! But I'm glad that my predictions on the rankings of the teams are same with that of the WPS's community. ![]() So I'll be supporting firstly Chicago Red Stars - who managed to capture the services of Lindsay Tarpley, Kate Markgraf and scorer of winning goal in the Olympics final Women's Soccer, Carli Lloyd, who is also a native of Delran, NJ. Many thought she will remain in her city like most of her team mates do but she has decided for a new challenge. On the same hand, I'll also be supporting the New Jersey/NY Sky Blue FC consisting of - Kai, O'reilly and captain Christie Rampone. They are a whoa of a team, I mean, the team that I predict will end up higher than Chicago Red Stars even. It will be intense when the 2 teams face each other. Well, I just hope that this revival of the women's league in the states will go well come April 2009! Out, Marj Labels: Chicago Red Stars, Sky Blue FC, WPS, WPS Allocation results

Time and again
I did have my doubts once, about everything. About the fact that my old injury didn't go away that I won't achieve my target, about how bad work is going to be, etc. But in life, you have to learn how to be immune to certain things. There are things that you can do nothing about it but just let it go or let it be. No matter how hard you try, sometimes when the effort is futile, then you know, that you've already given your best or done your best in making the best out of the situation. That's how it is. What's the point of then putting in more effort knowing that it won't do anything good then? Am I not right to say that? I know this is pretty subjective however, this depends on the situation itself. Sometimes it's better to just forget the past and then move on but not everyone can do that and this is something that you can't force everyone to do. O well.....anyway! Let's look on the bright side: Nike has released their new color for their Vapors! ![]() Pretty sleek if you ask me. Something to consider...ha ha ha ok shut up. Out, Marj

Did you just say you've passed out?
I was munching on the egg mayo sandwich this morning. Munch munch munch...until I felt a cracking/crispy like sound...hmmm must be the egg shell.. Oh anyway that's not what I'm going to talk about today. Eggs are never interesting topics, except when they crack and when something extroadinary comes out of it. ![]() (L to R: Hazmi, Andrew, Mark, myself, Yanzi and Angie) It's good to know that both Hazmi and Mark have passed out from their BMTC while serving the Nation, which means both of them have officially graduated from there so, they booked out of camp yesterday and we had a catch up day! Missed the good ol' times when were working at temp staff together with Andrew as well. Oh the thing we'd do, waste paper (Well...), go for lunch together, play pool (our escapism from work ha ha ha), crack lame and stupid jokes, kill each other with words... I'd just have to say that they make good mates and they will always be 3 of the few friends that I will always remember and keep in contact with. I only knew Hazmi when I was still studying in RP and were both from STA. I'd see him once awhile and then we'd just wave and say hi until....when I started working together with them as temp..did I find out that I'd never regret knowing these 3 boys. I didn't mind being the only girl though, though at times I'd feel left out but it's okay. So long we'd have fun working together, nothing else matters. It's never about sexism or anything, never. It's always the fun and joy that we bring into the office and perhaps also the noise haha! I never believed that they're now serving the nation but nevertheless, I do get to see them once a while :) Anyway, off to bed! Goodnight, Marj ![]()

The Aftermath
At least I managed to see the trophy-giving and the speech/interview by Roger Federer and Andy Murray this morning. Well of course, given that the finals of the U.S Open started at 5am this morning. At least I get to see part of the match, at least.... I'm not surprised at all that Federer was crowned the U.S Open Champion in the Men's Singles final because I was already expecting that in the back of my head. I've never seen Andy Murray played though, except for the last 2-3 points against Nadal last night on the telecast. Believe it or not, the match lasted a good three and a half hours. A duration in which I could perhaps fall asleep half way through the match, just kidding. I'd never sleep while watching a favorite player play. ![]() Anyway, it was also good to watch the telecast of the Women's singles final. It was like a match up between the beauty and the beast. Just look at the size of Serena Williams, her muscle shoulders, her big 2 thighs, her deep voice released when she hits the ball, her ferocious servings. I bet the ball would give you a big bruise on your forehead or anywhere the ball hits you when she serves. One kick of her leg and you'll literally fly a thousand miles away. Whereas Jelena Jankovic is the opposite, except for her fastest 109mph serving speed and her good backhands. She did put up a good fight but in short, Serena was just too good for her. Nevertheless, she's still the favorite player on my list of tennis player. The first time I watched her play on tv, I immediately put her as my favorite player, no doubt. You must be thinking, why not Maria Sharapova or either Williams sister? Well, I don't have an answer to that but you don't have to really like a top player, don't you? But well, Ruud v.Nistelrooy and Rafael Nadal are considered top players in their respective sports and...OK HUSH, FULLSTOP. *waves a little Serbian flag* (yea right as if I do own one....but just imagine me waving it ok!) Hidden Agenda
World No. 6 Andy Murray defeated Newly crowned No. 1 Rafael Nadal to reach the finals against No. 2 Roger Federer in the U.S Open 2008. WHA..........RT, no waaaaaaay but it happened anyway. Way too early for me to catch it at 4am but it seems that for the first time ever that there is no Federer Nadal final! I'm sure everyone expected a repeat of the Roland Garros final but no, everyone predicted wrong. So this leads to a very very generic but different picture from US Open website anyway: The other more interesting one will be Serena Williams v Jelena Jankovic, bring on the Serbian heat! On a last note, I hate it when people read your blog but not tag. Are you stalking the blog? If you're not stalking or if you're not a stalker, then tag, you idiots you stalker/s, with a BIG S. Unbelievable!
Apart from today being Friday...which also meant ...the weekends..!
![]() Amazing, eh? and how great can Rafael Nadal's first ever semi-final entrance in the U.S Open after defeating Mardy Fish and causing Mardy Fish to cry that he couldn't even speak at the media conference?

What good is it
You know what's frustrating? When you try so hard to backspace to a certain area on a microsoft word doc and it just won't move and when your HD is running out of internal space. This is frustrating. Actually, I was just kidding but yes, that is part of my list of what makes me frustrating. What frustrates me is that when people don't value what is given to them and when people take advantage of what is provided for them. When your parents give you say $500 for daily allowance, you will spend on what is needed or what you want to buy right? I'm sure you don't use it and buy drugs or invest in gambling right and then come back and ask for more. It's really so frustrating, for the fourth time I am using this word. I just can't stop getting so frustrated over this. Yes, there's nothing you can do but to see and know that people within your circle acts that way is so just blood boiling. O well...It's time that I don't care about anything, that would lower my boiling point. Marj
