Like really?
![]() Since the day I've purchased Part 4 of Broken Sword, I've been wanting to play it and been getting so excited in getting the whole game started. Unfortunately, there were some technical errors and it stated that it needed the original CD. WTH!? Isn't the one that I put in the original cd? I was so pissed so now there goes my $39.90 down the drain. I'm so going to email these people and try to get it working. I miss controlling where George Stobbart will walk and making him like an idiot in the game. This one looks really exciting. After today, it's the last day of RP life, oh great, YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! No more RJ, no more UTs, no more PBL. But next week yours truly am continuing embarking on another 2-3 final weeks of work at Mediacorp before getting another job. Yes, I will need a job that pays me so that I can get a mac and get some new clothes and also proper casual shoes and a pair of sandals and a bag. I guess that picture above pretty much explains how I feel right now, thinking where I should head towards after RP (except for the fact that George is standing on the outside of the balcony railing, which is not something that I will and intend to do.) Work
Whoa yes, it's another work day yet again! I think I played with the jog button too much that it spoiled, I think. The screen went berserk and showed, "Reel Error" while I was Quality-checking one of the tapes. I thought, damn, okay that's it but the head boss, who was in for awhile said, it's nothing. All he did was to restart the machine, eject the tape and put it back in and then tadaa, worked. When I tried using the jog button, nope, same thing happened, so I skipped using that. Aunty Choo ming joked, "The machine worked too hard already, it's too hot and it needs some rest!" Uncle Peter replied, "Oh? Too hot? Are you saying that the air-con is not cold enough?" Haha, lame but well, funny. So I went off to use another station. Also, one of the shows/movies that I was QC-ing happened to be Monster's Ball, the one I watched it in the same year it came out and it also happened to be one of the movies that late Heath Ledger appeared in. Indeed, gone way too soon, way too young. Oh well...sometimes in life you meet unfortunate stuff...

Thank you and more
It's been quite awhile since I catch up on the Women's League Cup and the other women's tournament in the UK...So, it's Everton and Arsenal Ladies in the League Cup final and that is really going to be exciting next coming month, 28th February. The england team mates are going to have to have a go at each other, whoa. Time is ticking and it's another just1 MORE WEEK left to end of the Days of RP! Very very excited! No more waking up early and preparing for school, no more 830-4 routines, no more sickening UTs(which are always at the wrong timings, always and forever), no more not-looking-so-appetizing food! I still remember my first day of RP when were at the Old Tanglin Campus filled with those irritating mozzies that would visit you everyday, without fail. Anyway, I would want to thank the following people in this week or so:

Pan cakes
The attempt to cook up some pan cakes was a success! I cooked some pancakes for lunch and had them with none other than the default and most basic topping, honey. It tastes great but too sweet because of the over-pour of honey. Now I know how to cook pancakes...The next attempt will be to cook cinnamon pancakes or cheese pancakes!

I have been
I've been happy and I have been quite sad. But let's not look at the why I've been sad. Everything's going great, definitely. US has won the 4 Nations Tournament in China with 3 straight wins(against Canada, Finland and China) and apart from that, has also sweeped 4 awards namely Best Coach for Pia, Most Valuable Player for Heather O'Reilly , Top Scorer for Lindsay Tarpley (2 goals in back to back games) and lastly, Fair Play award for having no yellow cards or red in all 3 matches. The team has been coming together well and the youngsters have been having a great game and showing just how good they are. Amy Rodriguez has showed her flair as a striker and Ali Kreiger has shown how solid she is has a defender, working alongside captain Rampone in the central defence. These 2 young players are my best 2 young players in this tournament and the fastest player would be Heather O'Reilly, who has been speeding down the flanks, giving trouble to the opponents, making good crosses. She runs at the speed of lighting but was unfortunate not to get any goals. My all time favorite player Carli Lloyd almost had a goal from 25 yards out! But nonetheless, good save from China's keeper Zhang, who was awarded Best Goalkeeper of the tournament. In the final match, US didn't play that well against China, who man marked US very well. They defended well when US was attacking and blocked out most of the dangerous shots that was peppered on them, which got the US frustrated. US tried very hard to score and despite the 12-2 corners that US had against them, they still couldn't score. There were many almosts but the best Goalkeeper of the tournament kept them out. Finally a header from magical #7 Shannon Boxx from Becky Sauerbrunn's cross put US ahead in the 77th minute till the end and US made it to 3 consecutive wins! Well deserved and Becky Sauerbrunn goes home with a almost-recovered broken nose. The one with the killer shots from 25 - 35 yards out and the one with the fine crosses. Right now, I'm just focusing on graduating in a week and a half's time and then out to work for a year before calling it back to studies for a degree. Out, Marj Labels: 4 Nations Tournament 2008, USA

Up and away, USA!
Great game and great goals for the US WNT's opening win of 4-0 over Canada! The 2nd half was much better and the passings was awesome. Good passes to the flank and mostly were pint point passing. Love those goals. Young Amy Rodriguez got 2 and Tarpley got 2 when she came in for Osborne! Good or what? Abby was unfortunate not to get any goals in the game. The match was so so exciting and it was good to see the youngsters come out to play and the moment Rodriguez got the first goal in, I screamed goal! No one was home so, that's a good thing, haha. I can't wait for tomorrow's game against China, we're going to have to fight and win it! I can't wait to see Tobin Heath play, sure it's going to be great watching a great young talent on the field! The almost forgotten
Like finally Prodirrect's catalog arrived, after a good 3 months ago when I requested for it. It sure was a long ago thing that I did and I guess I requested twice hence the double copies. I was so happy, thinking that they'd send me 2 different month's issue but when I flipped over one of the copies, I realized that it's actually the same.exact.copy. At least now I know I have something else to do in my bored time...Out, Marj Labels: proddirect catalog, proddirect magazine

At long last
After months of hard work and chasing of the tough meat boys to get their work done, WE'RE DONE WITH FYP 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But we submitted in a day late so everyone will have to settle for a 5% deduction of their grades then. But anywho and any heck, it's all over! It was definitely tough working with the 3 boys but well, they did their work anyway and eventually so, towards the end of the project, I can't complain. I did the report all on my own and final edit was also done by me with the help of David. I'm done with PP as well and it went well, it was great. Confident of passing. 3 MORE WEEKS AND I'M DONE WITH POLY AND OFF TO WORK MORE OFTEN! I'M VERY VERY HAPPY, VERY. Toodles, Marj

Bad people
I was just on youtube and then I came upon these comments. It's by far the greatest and most hilarious conversations I've ever read. busterbomb (3 months ago) Show Hide Marked as spam -2 Reply | Spam stupid ass koreans. how do you know i am indian? Who cares if they don't have a soccer team. Have you seen there cricket team. No..indian women don't look like boys, you are right they look like skanks with red dots on there foreheads. Why do they have those ugly dots on the foreheads? Oh I know the indian guys are jabbing their fingers on their foreheads saying "damn why are you so ugly" thats why they have those red bruise marks on their heads. How bad can people get? To this point where it becomes funny to the audience and fuming for the victimized. Oh dear
