One shot

On the evening of 27 Nov 2010, I scored my first goal ever goal for my team and celebrated as if we were top of the world. I tried taking a shot earlier and was so close and on the second time this time, it went into the net.

Crazy celebration and winning the game was the best way to wrap up the week. Never felt so happy like this in almost more than a year.

Keep Fighting,

Keep on working it.

I admit and accepted that that it wasn't one of e best today, at least for me. I was down many times. I tried, I got up and again, I couldnt catch my breath. It was as if my breath was way faster than I am. I was fully exhausted in 15-20 minutes.

The next half was slightly better but better effort could have been put in.

All in all, theres plenty to work on and I definitely need to work on my fitness with everyone else.

I've never felt that awful before. Just gota work harder and pull e strings next time.

Happy Birthday Weisi and I hope you'll wear the jersey 24/7. Just kidding.

Keep Fighting,
Marj

Gota come back stronger

Someone once told me, "Defeats are sometimes inevitable". The only thing we can do, is to have the strength and courage to get back up and try again. If you don't, then how are you going to move on?

Watching the world ranked #1 team fall to a side that is getting better was heartbreaking. Lost it in the 2nd half and indeed they looked tired. I applaud Rapinoe, Boxx and Lloyd for taking shots but those shots, blew some holes in the skies. Alex Morgan proved to be useful and worked her butt off every single minute, taking as many chances or opportunities that came her way, good for her.

At the final whistle, the Mexicans celebrate, some stripping off their jerseys, the usual hugging of all your team mates and your coach, going to the stands to celebrate with the homeground crowd. It was indeed hard to watch and knowing that your goal was to win this game, it turned out to be the opposite. You walk with your face down and shoulders hunched back into the dressing room while all the happy celebrations around you goes on, hoping that your team was the winning team inside. In reality, you're defeated and you have another hurdle to go through.

Let's go USA, bounce back and show Costa Rica what you're truly made of!

Keep Fighting,

The importance

Great sermon today from an English missionary. Couldn't be any better! Great humor throughout and definitely, God works his wonderous ways in all of us, even when we need it the most, Amen!

"God, please make sure no questions are asked from Numbers because it's too difficult to remember!"
- the sermon speaker

He continued with his joke, "Sometimes, it's good to be honest with God."

I pray for his safety as he continues to travel around the world as a missionary and thank God for him!

Keep Fighting,
Marjory
