They are top quality pencils which need minimum blending - if you're a Polychomo/Prisma fan you really need to check them out because we have all switched from those brands because we find Lyra's much faster to work with, easier to blend and superb colours and lightfastness that is superior to most of the others on the market - and they're an amazing price too!

Scatty Jan I have used the lovely Daisydays stamps for my card this week....

Jane – I did a bit of digi merging for my make this week using my absolute all-time favourite image EVER Octavia Best Friends.  I merged her with wings from the Work & Play 9 Love & Kisses bundle where you can also find the sentiment.
Colours used:
Skin: 76, 80, 82, 32 + 28
Purples: 41, 38, 39
Blues: 49, 48, 47
Greys: 97, 96, 95
White

Nikky...I've used this lovely Meribelle image from Polkadoodles this week, you can get it here...I struggled with my hands this week so my colouring isn't the best, I had to print my image really large to make it a bit easier as I can't hold the pencil too well with pressure. Annoyingly I then trimmed too much off with my die shape so lost loads of the extra background I'd spent ages on, typical lol...

All the flowers used are from the Polkadoodles Lavender Tea collection - the colours were a perfect combination...
Unfortunately I forgot to write the colours I used, my bad, oops!

Gorgeous inspiration!

So onto our winners....

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Oddball Art Store - check out their amazing range of digis! Lizzy is kindly donating 3 digis to our random lucky winner for this challenge....

OK, let's see what the team have coloured for you this week!...

Nikky...I decided to go to the dark side this week and push myself into doing a darker skintone. Not the easiest thing in the world to achieve but I was quite pleased how this turned out in the end. The key with doing dark skin is you have to layer and layer and really mix your colours to get it right and there are tons and tons of different skintones to go for...an asian tone is very different to an american/caribbean kind of tone...this image is CASSIDEY....
I'm so bad at not writing my colours down but as the skin took a while and I wanted that to be my focus I didnt do much on the clothing and kept it mono, just using the Black pencil and white to blend.
Skintone colours: 75,76, 82, black, 32
cheeks & warmer tones - Carmine red
hair - black, white pencil

Scatty Jan For my image this fortnight I used Birthday Jaz. Just love her huge glasses....
Colours used
Skin 32, 30, 76, 89
Hair 84, 05, 01, 75, 76
Orange 83, 09, 13
Greys 97-99
Jane – I do love Oddball images and I have printed CASSIDEY twice, once 'normally' and once with very faint lines so that I could fill her with black pencil to create a ‘shadow’.
Colours used:
Skin: 76, 89, 30, 32 + 90
Purple: 41, 38, 36
Orange: 17, 15, 13, 9
Black/Grey: 99, 98, 97, 96

Lou: I have coloured up "Big Eyed Sassy Bianca" and once she was coloured, the sentiment just came to me ... she just reminded me of a dark haired patsy from AdFab !

Colours used:
Skin: light flesh, pink madder lake, light carmine
Hair: dark sepia, van dyck brown, raw umber & gold ochre
Dress: moss green, olive green, light violet, dark violet, aquamarine & black
Socks: black, light violet & dark violet
Shadow: silver grey, medium grey & dark grey

Gorgeous inspiration!  So onto our winners....
