Rexburg Rapids with Gran and Britney

One of the days we spent playing with Gran and Britney we went to Rexburg Rapids. It seemed like the perfect day. We had a great time playing in the water and on the slides and the lazy river, but we had to clear out of one of the pools two different times because someone threw up in the pool. Two different times! I wonder if that happens a lot or if we just came on an off day. Each time the pool was clear for 45 minutes. Kind of crazy! 

 We had a great day and on the way home the girls were so hungry. Eden kept saying over and over that she wanted chicken nuggets. It started to be comical because she kept telling us over and over. Finally we stopped by a McDonalds in Idaho Falls, and it made it even more funny because it took about 15 minutes for them to get the chicken nuggets out to us in the car. Eden thought she was never going to get her chicken nuggets! Again we had so much fun that everyone was worn out and slept great that night.

Making Raspberry Jam

Someday I will have my very own raspberry patch where I can go out and pick buckets full of berries all summer long and have more than enough for eating, making jam, and making pies. But for now... we bought some very nice raspberries so we could make a couple batches of jam to have in the freezer for this year. Montanna was my little helper while Eden took a nap and she loved being my stirrer when we were first starting out.I promise I made her watch from a distance when it started getting too hot.

Rexburg Splash Park

Ok... I'm catching up on everything we have been doing this summer that I haven't posted about. Especially since it is fall already and I have to accept that summer really is over for another year. That being said, I am really looking forward to the nice cool fall weather. The trees changing colors and raking leaves up and jumping in them with Montanna and Eden. There is always something fun to do!

One day a couple months ago, Lauren and I decided to take the girls to the splash pad in Rexburg. Can you believe they don't have anything like this in Idaho Falls? We both wished that it was closer and we would have gone all the time, but the girls had so much fun playing and splashing in the water. They were all worn out by the end of the day.

Montanna got me to take a ride down the slide with her. Super fun! Montanna got a little water in her eyes, but she brushed them off and kept going.

Bryn was the most excited of all. What a cute face! We had a great day playing with our cousins.

1st Day of Preschool!

Today was the day! We had a sticker countdown for the last 12 days and we made it to the day. Montanna was super excited this morning and requested Huckleberry Pancakes as her pre-preschool breakfast. We dropped Eden off to visit with Aunt Lauren, Brynlee and Emily and she and I had fun a fun day. She got to play go fishing, was read a story, and made a paper doll of herself so her teacher, Miss Karla, can add the picture that was taken of her today. She was so excited to put on her backpack and is already ready for her next preschool day next Tuesday. She's getting big!
