and here's my first page I created using the Funfetti kit. And because I am a bit of a paint lover,  today I am  sharing a  quick tute on how to add a little bit of freestyle  scrapping to your pages. So lets take a wee look at the layout!

Start by selecting a couple of colors of acrylic paint and blob onto your cardstock.


Using a dry paint brush dip the brush into the blob of paint and brush up and down lightly and only once. We want it to look like a brush stroke.



Now grab those old making memories foam stamps that have been sitting around for decades and swipe some paint onto them and just randomly stamp. Allow the paint to dry.


Grab an assortment of stamps and black ink and randomly stamp, this adds so much detail. Once you are happy with your stamping  it's time to grab a gel pen and highlight the letters by outlining them, add doodles as you go. Now you have a funky cool background to work with, all you have to do is add your photo and embellishments.



And here's another page I created using the Funfetti Kit. I am a circles girl. And this is a favorite design of mine and I love using up scraps of pattern paper this way.  I hope you like my oversize pie chart! I'm also a embellishment LOVER. I love using the printed quotes that come in the kits. You will notice I always cut them up. Its just something that I do.... crazy I know! But it works for me like this!

Up on The Crafters Workshop blog today!

Hello... So today I have a couple of new projects on The Crafters Workshop. I have new stencils in the house and they are totally awesome! Super excited to use them. Plus we had some extras goodies in our box's. So excited to play and get a little of the page for this one.

Here's my page I created using the October kit - Funfetti!  Its totally me I love everything in it. I think I squealed as I open it too. My style is freestyle, random and quirky. I love stepping out of the box with my pages. I love to doodle and love circles alot!. You will see those too elements on my pages oh and some watercolor splashes too.




I've used the "Funfetti October kit" to create my selfie page.
