The past two days have been nothing but hard work for Paul and I.
We both have back aches, and I damaged a really great pedicure. I also got my first sunburn of the year. It looks worse than it feels. That still doesn't stop people from staring or even gasping when they see me. Every year when I get my first sunburn I am immediately reminded of how pale I truly am, how purple I can get, how uncomfortable it makes those around me, and that I need to call and purchase stock in Coppertone before the summer begins! It's a warm and fuzzy feeling really.
Paul also got a sunburn. It's also REALLY red, but people don't gasp and stare when he walks by. It's because he's not so pale to begin with.

Dang it!
But, I digress....
The sunburns, the back aches, and the damaged mani and pedi was worth it!
Paul and I completely redid our front yard's landscaping.
Here are the before pictures....
and here are our afters.....
We are in love with how it turned out, and look forward to watching it grow and mature. Last night, when we were outside admiring our work, I told Paul that our house now looks like our home.
The hard work was well worth it!
Now I'm going to go see my new best friend....Aloe Vera.
She's HOTT!!
