When we give Jaxon his last feeding for the night, sometimes he is so tired that he does a dead body. It's really dark at the beginning but it gets lighter!

Jaxon's 4 Months

So we just celebrated Jaxon's 4 month birthday. Well we didn't really celebrate but it was definitely a milestone. Can't believe he is 4 months already! We love him so much. At his check up he had to get some pretty painful shots! Not fun for him or mom and dad.But he did so good. I was so proud of him he only cried for a couple seconds and then he was fine. But we did get his stats which were:
Length 27.25 (off the charts)
Weight 16lbs (75%)
Head Circ 42.8cm (75%)
Of course we were not surprised with the height one. He is going to be one tall boy! Jaxon has learned to roll over (only stomach to back), also he does this new thing where he growls. haha He'll lay in his crib in the mornings and just growl. It's so funny. And he has started to laugh which is pretty much the best sound in the world for me and John!

Resolutions

Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to this new year and being able to watch our little boy grow. Everyday he seems to change and its always so exciting. We love him so much! Of course me and John also have made some New Year's resolutions. First, we want to start eating healthier. I try to not go to strict because I usually end up breaking it and then I'm disappointed. So I thought I would just say eat healthier and exercise MORE. Pregnancy and the holidays were not good to me! Second, I want to be more crafty. I'm not at all, but I've realized I can just do simple things. The crafts don't have to be extravagant.Anyways, those are mine so hopefully i will succed! So of course i have posted some pictures of Jaxon, Enjoy!


It always amazes me when we lift the carseat cover up and Jaxon looks so uncomfortable, but zonked out!

The holidays

Every December I get really excited for Christmas because it is my favorite holiday. But I also get very stressed and overwhelmed with all the holiday parties. Especially this year with having a 3 month old baby. No more getting ready a half hour before you have to leave. It takes four hours to get yourself, your husband, and your baby ready to go anywhere. This year we had at least two or sometimes even 4 four parties in a week! I have to say though, i really enjoyed each one of them. Being with family, eating a lot and relaxing with great people! I tried hard to remember the true meaning of Christmas and the holiday season. I am truly grateful for everything in my life and especially family! Me and John are blessed to live so close to so many family members. My parents and my brother and his family live out of state so we miss them, but i am so grateful for the amazing technology that we have. We were able to skype with them and it was awesome! So i am still getting used to this whole blogging thing so my pictures are kinda out of order. They are all from December though! I realized after this post took me FOREVER, that i need to update the blog more than once a month...oops! Anyways, hope you enjoy and hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

First Post

Well I'm not really sure i know how to do this but I decided to join the blogger club. So i guess I'll start with a little about us, The Olsen's. Me and John just celebrated our one year anniversary on the 10Th. That was very exciting. On September 23rd we had our sweet little boy Jaxon John Olsen. He is so cute and me and John love him so much! We are currently living in American Fork, Utah. I had always said I would never live in Utah County, but sometimes things don't always go as planned. :) But I have to admit i actually really like it. John is currently working at Sprinkler Supply Company and working on school at Western Governor's online schooling. I was working at the credit union but quit once Jaxon arrived and now am so blessed that i get to stay home with him. Being a mom is so much more work than i ever expected but i really do love it. Some days i really look forward to Jaxon going down for his naps, but usually after about an hour i really start to miss him. I love and appreciate John so much for working so hard for our family. So I'll just post some pictures to catch everyone up!
