Our Temporarily New Life!

We've been here in Colorado Springs now for five weeks and have since enjoyed many grand adventures. Our first week here was a little on the boring side. Besides the fact we were busy trying to get settled into our new place, the weather was anything but warm. It even snowed here, IN MAY! I hadn't realized how much I had gotten use to the HOT St. George climate; eventhough I had been raised in a much cooler part of Utah. Lucky for me it is finally starting to warm up.

Keep scrolling down to check out the new life of the Nebekers!!

Love is seeing your child asleep!!!
Kayla asleep in the bobby pillow. Oh how precious!

Kylie fell asleep in the middle of our hallway. Hey, as long as she's sleeping I don't care where she does it!!

Kayla sleeping on the couch. This girl can sleep anywhere!

Okay, this one just goes to show just how boring Mommy can really be. I walked in to find Kylie asleep in the middle of the kitchen floor!

Sisterly Love

Kylie and Kayla

The Park

We went to the park a little while ago and Kylie loved it!

Kylie's favorite part was the swing! She did not want to get out of it!

LET'S GO ROCKIES!!

We went to a Rockies Baseball game the other day with Mike. The Rockies killed the Twins 6 to 2! It was a great game!

We had nose bleeder seats unfortunately, but it was still nice to get out and enjoy a baseball game.

Kylie LOVED the game! Mike is always saying he doesn't want to deal with her during a game, but every game we've ever been to, she's been great! In fact, whenever the crowd would go wild Kylie would start jumping up and down, clapping her hands and screaming that amazing scream she has! She still loves baseball, a must for this family!

Even Kayla did pretty well. She was a little fussy from time to time, I think mostly because she had a runny nose and a small cough. But there were moments were she would sit on my lap and look out over the stadium. Mike was a little bummed her first baseball game wasn't an Angels game, but we'll get her there someday!

Downtown Aquarium!

After the eventful Rockies game, we made our way to the Downtown Aquarium in Denver. Here you'll find every kind of fish under the sun! Saltwater and fresh water fish! Not to mention Eal's, sharks and many other sea creatures. It was amazing! They also had all different kinds of reptiles including (but not limited to) snakes, frogs, birds and lizards! There was even a tiger in the middle of the whole thing; and a flash flood! It was a great adventure for the whole family!

Here Kylie is actually looking UP at the fish! There were a few areas in the exhibit where you were literally walking under water.

"And there was a BIG shark and............."

Kylie was trying to pet the sting rays but the poor girl is just too short!

After walking through the aquarium, we headed down to their restaurant were we got to dine with the fish! The food was great, a little pricey, but the desserts were to DIE for! We ordered three different kinds and they were all heavenly! (No, Mike and I did not consume all three, we had Mike and April along with us).

Silly Girl

Kylie had waken up in the middle of the night and crawled in to bed with us. I awoke at about 5 in the morning to find my pillow had been taken over. When I got up, I found Kylie asleep like this! I had to take a picture!

I'm All Smiles

Kayla is starting to smile now! I just love her toothless grin! Now I just need to get a laugh out of her!

Well there you have the life of the Nebeker Clan! We have also gone to a bug museum where they have the world LARGEST bug! No Joke! Spiders bigger then my hand! I just wish I'd remembered to grab my camera! We've also been swimming a few times here at the clubhouse pool, but again I forgot my camera! Although we never went into the pool because it was just too cold here; we spent all of our time in the hot tub!
