Pizza, Pizza!

We made it through the first week of school! It will be another busy semester for both of us but somehow we always manage to live through it! Yesterday was my first day of observations in the Child Study Center on campus; I'll be there every Monday for the rest of the semester! I loved it! I am in the 3 year old class and they are hilarious. I had one (adorable) little boy who was instantly attached to me; he wanted me to play with him the whole time! I'm acutally supposed to walk around the room and interact with all the kids but how can I say no when he asks me to keep playing with him?! There was a little girl that played with us part of the time and she was a riot...SO mature for her age! I love all kids, but I especially love observing the advanced ones. They are just so fascinating!

Today, Matt got a flat tire. He's had many in the
four year I've known him. Something about him just attracts flat tires I think... So now we'll have to take it to be repaired tomorrow. I really hate doing things like that! I don't like car repair places; they smell funny....like a mixture of rubber and dirt.

Sunday afternoon I went to the grocery store. When I took the list off the fridge, I noticed
this little addition...

He decided he needed some frozen pizzas I guess! I especially love the smiley face he put beside it! It looks slightly creepy! haha. The best part is the "I love you" at the bottom. Made my day! He is so funny! I used to have a little calendar in my bathroom that I would write school due dates on so I would see it as I was getting ready in the mornings. Sometimes when I would flip the page to the next month I would find "I love you" or something like that written somewhere! So cute.

Speaking of Pizza, thats what we had for dinner last night! Matt picked up me from my evening class and we decided to pick something up for dinner on the way home. I told him that either a salad from Jason's Deli, or pizza sounded good to me. Of course he chose pizza! We may, or may not have eaten the whole pizza last night.

Cupcakes, Smoothies and Dynamite

Well today was our first day back to school. Actually, our last, first day of school!! At least it is for me! Matt plans to attend graduate school so I guess it wasn't his last first day. Darn.
Saturday was my grandma's 74th birthday so we had a cookout for her at my mom's house! And then Sunday was my mom's birthday we had the family over to our apartment for lunch and birthday cake! I made slow cooked chicken, risotto and bruschetta! Here's the giant cupcake cake I made her! :)

We've been drinking a lot of smoothies lately! The other day,  I cut open a peach that was a little softer than we prefer so I decided to throw it in the blender with a banana, some ice, almond milk and a sprinkle of splenda! It was SO yummy!! We've made them literally every day since!

Here's a funny story about Matt. Last Tuesday we watched America's Got Talent; there was a group that sang the song "Dynamite." Well, after the show went off, Matt got in the shower. I'm sitting on the couch watching TV and I notice a faint sound coming from the bathroom! So I muted the TV to get a better listen. It was Matt, ever so quietly singing "Dynamite" in the shower!! HAHAHA! I think he was trying to be so quite because he thought I wouldn't hear. Matt is so quite and reserved so it was pretty funny to witness this performacnce! :)

Matt has class from 8-3 tomorrow and I go from 2-7:15! It will be a long day for both of us! Before I go to my classes on campus, I have to as assignment for my online Spanish class. I'm horrible at foreign languages! I'll leave you with this picture of us! It's one Matt particularly likes.

If only my eyes didn't look like a wrinkly old lady in this one!

Our first few weeks as Mr. and Mrs.

Well, after four long years, we're finally married! The wedding was just perfect! We loved every second of it! My bouquet was more beautiful than I imagined and I got so many compliments on my dress! Everyone loved the cake too; it was gorgeous and tasted DIVINE!

Hands down, I had the BEST and most beautiful bridesmaids!! On the left is my cousin, Stormi and on the right is my dearest friend and maid of honor, MaryBeth. I love those two girls a lot and I'm so glad they were part of our day!!

My favorite part of the wedding was the shoe game!! We both had one of our own shoes, and one of the other persons shoes and the DJ would ask silly questions like "who is the messiest?" and we held up the shoe of the person we thought it was! We were sitting back to back so we couldn't see what the other was answering! It was fun and I think our guests enjoyed it because they were laughing a lot!

Was our photographer not great!? She's the sweetest person you'll EVER meet! And SO talented! We LOVED our engagement picutres she took. I LOVED my bridals that she took and we LOVE the wedding pictures we've seen so far and can't wait to see the rest! She's the best, really! Go to her website www.caitboswell.com to see more of her fabulous work!

We stayed at the Skirvin on our wedding night; when we got there the lady at the desk upgraded us to a suite since it was our wedding night! The room was beautiful! I wish I had gotten a picture! The lobby was full of people when we got there and they were all staring at us as we walked in in our wedding clothes. I secretly adored the attention! :) Here's a photo of us right after we got to our room!

Rose Briar, our wedding chapel, had sent us with lots of food and cake from our reception so we devoured that first thing! Neither of us had eaten since lunch so we were straved! It was all delicious! Minus the shrimp cocktail....that was one of the things Matt picked. I. Hate. Cold. Shirmp. Yuck! But everything else was great!
Our flight didn't leave until 5:20 on Sunday evening so we went back to our apartment Sunday afternoon. We opened the gifts from the wedding, watched Because I Said So (love that movie) and then headed to the airport!

We spent 7 nights in St. Lucia for our honeymoon! The resort was gorgeous and we had SO much fun! We kayaked, toured the island, went horseback riding, and snorkeled! Well, Matt snorkeled; I was too scared. Haha!  Here's a few of the 400 photos we took! :)

We had a great time! But we were ready to get home! Since we've been home we've been busy doing all my name changes, getting our apartemtent set up and getting ready for school to start on the 22nd! The week we got home, we went to my moms and ate the top of our wedding cake! She froze it for us after the wedding, but there's no way I'm eating year old cake! So we decided we'd eat it now while it's still delicious! It was scumptious! The flavor was white chocolate amaretto!

Matt won't admit it, but he loves having Molly around! She is always making us laugh!

We have loved every second of our 25 days of marriage so far! :)
