She is licensed. Oakley spent 4 hrs Saturday taking a driving test through an obstacle course, and a written test. Now she is legal to drive 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, motorcycles, or any off road vehicles SCARY!!

I have always said that I don't make my girls dance, and that if they ever wanted to do something else that I would be just fine with it. So when Indy said she wanted to play T-Ball I had to let her give it a try. So after her last game thursday I had to ask, so do you think you like sports or dance better, she said she is definitely a DANCER yeah!!!!!!!

As if camping wasn't enough all weekend, we got home Sunday and decided the it was way to nice to just stay home. So we loaded up the boat and headed down to Utah Lake.

We decided that the weather was finally warm enough to break the trailer out. We got an invite from Calvin and Mckenzie Smart to go camp up by Strawberry Lake. To tell you the truth I kind of had to force myself to get everything ready, it is just so much work. Once we were there I remembered how much fun we have and just how relaxing camping is, and my kids love every minute of it.
Waiting to see if their squirrell bait would succeed!
Intense game of corn toss!
Of course SMORES!
Indy's nice catch!
Oakley's MONSTER!

What I was doing 10 years ago - I was 20 years old, me and Steve had been married 2 years. We were living in a little old house on 1600 N. in Orem, that my grandpa was born and raised in (wish I had it back). I was working in a little salon I owned called The Cut'n Post in Lindon (wish I had it back). I was pregnant with Oakley, and had know idea what I was in for! he he! Don't you wonder sometimes why were in such a hurry to move on to bigger and better things, and when you look back you just wish you had enjoyed it all a little longer!
5 years ago - Landscaping our new home in Lindon (it took a couple years). Indy was 3 months old. I was now working in my salon out of the basement. For those of you that don't know me that well, I have a horrible memory, so that's about all I can remember.
1 year - sicker then a dawg (what does that mean anyway?) I was just barely pregnant with Shylo, and starting out one of the worst summers ever! We hardly did anything, I was just in survival mode (good thing she was worth it!)
Yesterday - What a great day! I feel like I just can't get my feel of the sun. We played outside all day!
5 favorite snacks - diet coke, diet coke, diet coke, fiber 1 bars, and diet coke!
5 favorite books - I don't read all that much, because I get really obsessed and can't put it down, but I love the Twilight series and can't wait for the next one!
5 places to runaway - Mexico, anywhere on the boat, anywhere in the trailer, my bedroom, my car.
5 bad habits - I am going with Tai on swearing, just sh*t, d*mn, and h*ll and my mom always said those didn't count, pulling out my eyelashes (I know weird!), diet coke runs, yelling, not answering my phone, and telling things WAY to personal!
5 things I would never wear - I am going with Cori on skinny jeans, and super flat shoes, I love them on other people, but my legs would look as wide as they are long! I am having a hard time with this one!
5 pet peeves - offensive drivers, when my house or yard are not clean, unloading grocery's, never ending laundry!
5 things I enjoy - vacations, watching my girls dance (or do anything), doing hair, cooking, talking.
5 favorite T.V. shows - anything on the food network, Bachelorette, plastic surgery shows, so you think you can dance, and hell's kitchen.
5 famous people I would like to meet - I am just so not that way, I don't think I would even know what to say to somebody famous.
5 people I want to tag - Hayley, Kathy, Shannon, Suzy, Molly Z.
Thanks Tai!

We headed to St. George as soon as the Oaks got out of school friday. Hayley and Josh met as down there, and we fit in as much as possible in 2 days! Pedicures, hiking, movies, ice cream, dinners, and simming, swimming, and swimming. We had a blast!

Me and the girls went and watched Oakley's Dance festival!

50 yard dash 2nd place (by a hair) of 3rd grade girls

We went to Shylo's 4 month check up today and these were her stats:
WEIGHT 12 lbs. 1 oz. 20th percentile
LENGTH 24 inches 48th percentile
So we are definitely working are way up the charts. She has been such a great addition to our family, and is developing such a cute personality. I just love this age so much. Every day I have to work or we just get busy with every day things I panic when the day is over, that I haven't held or just looked at her enough. I just know this stage goes so fast, so I am doing my best to take it all in.

So I don't think we could have asked for more this year. I am so proud of my girls and how hard they have worked this year at the Dance Club! So after a very long 5 days are results came in! Indy is going to be on the Mini Stars team this year (even though she was sure, she should have been put on Company ha ha!). We are just so happy that she gets to be with most of her friends. I had to go pull Oakley out of class at school, because she wouldn't let me open her letter without her. I can't imagine how silly we both looked crying outside of the elementary school, when we read that Oakley would be on Junior Company this year. I'm not quit sure if she knows what she is in for this year (or do I). But I am sure it will be another GREAT year at the Dance Club!

Finally we get some warm weather, when we are not at a dance competition, or performance. Indy got the chance to ride her 4-wheeler that she's been waiting since christmas to ride. The weather just feels so good! now if I can just get motivated to do something with my yard!
