Mullet

Yep Mike thought it would be a great idea to buy a sweatband mullet.  I came home to find him like this!  He cracks me up.

Into Everything

 Well my adorable little boy loves to get into EVERYTHING.  It is so fun to see how he loves to explore and climb all over.  He loves to push his 'motorcycle' around, with tiger.  He can pull up on things and walk along them.  He loves to crawl everywhere.

We have just kept his new truck in the house.  I know cool mom huh?  Well he will climb up into and just sit there playing for quite awhile.  I love that he is able to play by himself sometimes.

Plus who doesn't want to play in an empty box!

Roll Your Windows Down and Cruise

Daddy spoiled this cute little kid.  What a lucky kid to have such a cool dad.  I asked Mike if maybe we should wait and give it to Jonas for his birthday.  He said no I want him to play with it now.  Now you can see why Dad is the favorite.

So Excited

Look how excited someone is!  Haha this photo cracks me up!

Tiger

It amazes me how your kid can find something that they love without you pushing anything on them.  That is what happened with Tiger.  Uncle Aaron bought the tiger for Jonas as a christmas present.  Jonas absolutely loves Tiger and sleeps with him every night and every nap.  He takes him in the car and cuddles with him every chance he gets.  I have already had to wash Tiger twice and I need to do it again.  Jonas' favorite thing to do is suck his thumb and play with Tiger's tail.  It is the cutest thing you have ever seen.  

It doesn't bother me at all that he has a comfort object.  I am glad that he has found a way to soothe himself.  Mike and I have talked about buying a back up tiger just in case.  I love this picture.  He is a tiger boy through and through.

A Boy and His Dog

I will be totally honest, Alice is not the biggest fan of Jonas.  In her eyes he came in and stole her place.  In a way he really did steal all of her attention.  She has been really good with him though, if he bothers her she will usually just leave.  He on the other hand absolutely loves her.  He thinks it is so cool to have a stuffed animal that moves around.

I absolutely love that we had a boy.  It is so cute to watch Mike with his son.  They are adorable!!  Mike is such a good father.  They always have so much fun together.  I hope Jonas grows up to be just like Mike.

Tomatoes

Mike planted a garden this year.  He planted tomatoes, peppers, and some herbs. Rosemary, thyme, and basil.  It has been so fun to have fresh vegetables and herbs to use while cooking.  While we were outside working in the yard we looked over and found this. . . .

Apparently he got his own tomato and started chowing down.  At least we know he likes tomatoes.  He did eat the whole thing.

9 Months

9 Months

I can't believe my baby is nine months.  He is so big.  He can crawl and walk along things.  He has three teeth.  He is 21.1 lbs and 29.5" tall.  

Apparently he was tired of getting his pictures taken so he decided to take off.

This kid is so stinkin' adorable.  I am so grateful for him.  Mike and I are so lucky!

Piano Boy

I absolutely love seeing signs of Jonas around the house.  We have waited so long for him to join our family and it is so fun to see his little signature everywhere.

Basketball Boy

I went to the DI the other day.  I was trying to find a walker for the Jonas boy.  Of course I didn't find what I wanted but I did find this adorable basketball hoop.  It was so cute, Jonas held it in the cart and was super excited to play with it when he got home.  He really likes to play with balls.  This kid is all boy for sure!

Bathtub Baby

Jonas loves to take a bath more than anything else.  He gets so excited when he hears the water running.  It is the most adorable thing ever.

So Happy!

Well I have been trying to find time and get caught up on all of my blog posts but that is obviously not happening any time soon.  I keep thinking that I am going to get it done and each day I get further and further behind.  So I am going to move forward before I miss anything else that is important.  I feel like I am going to forget a lot of things that are happening with Jonas and it makes me sad!  I have been having so much fun with him lately.  I wish I could be with him all of the time!

Look at that cute curl on the side of his head.  I think his hair might go curly?  hmmm maybe?

He isn't very good at feeding himself yet, but he likes to hold his spoon just to practice anyway.

Look at those cute teeth.  He has his two bottom ones and just yesterday one of his upper ones came in.  It's funny because it isn't one of his middle ones, it is the one right next to it.  The tooth on the other side is also coming in.

This is right after Mike tickled him.  I absolutely love his laugh.  I am going to have to put up a video so I will remember how adorable it is.

We have been pretty busy lately but I will try and post as often as possible so I can keep track of what is going on with my adorable little man.  Love this kid!!!!

Flowers

Mike has worked so hard on the yard and it has turned out beautiful.  Grandpa Jeffers helped Mike with the metalwork for the buckets.  It turned out gorgeous.  I love how different and unique it is.

Garret's Roast June 3, 2012

Mike's family has a tradition, after you graduate from high school they have a roast to celebrate.  It's funny because they don't actually roast you, it is more like a night of appreciation.  Everyone goes around and tells the person how much they love them and what they appreciate about them.  I can't believe Garret is old enough to graduate.  I remember him as the little kid who used to come spend the night at our house.  Crazy how time flies.

I can't believe that my 'little' brother is old enough to graduate.  I say 'little' because he hates that.  He always tells me that he is my 'younger' brother NOT 'little' brother.  I love him so much.  He is one of my best friends.  I am so proud of him.  It is a tradition in our family to go to The Roof for dinner before the graduation.  It is so yummy!
