We also decided to take the babies on a walk last night, since it's starting to get nicer outside. They both had big big eyes as we walked around, cuz it was their first long walk around outside really.

R.I.P Touche...

I hope you all had a good v-day!

i just wanted to let everyone know that touche died on valentines day.

Touche

I have terribly depressing news. Touche, my rat, who some of you may know, is very quickly approaching the end of her life. She is very nearly 2 and a half years old, which, so I have read, is a pretty normal life-span of a rat. She hasn't been eating very well and is now extremely skinny. About a week ago I was holding her and she went for her normal stroll over my shoulder, however in her weak condition she isn't as agile as she use to be, and she fell from about the middle of my back to the carpet. Normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal, because rats are pretty resilient about falls, but since she's getting old, and is so skinny, I'm pretty sure she broke something. After that she couldn't hardly get up to her water anymore, so I moved it closer to her, but she has now stopped drinking. I can't get her to eat or drink at all. The past 3 days she has just laid in her cage, breathing. I don't know how she is still alive, I have been constantly checking on her and she is still there, but it's so sad I just want to cry. I think all I can do is just wait for her to go. I wish I spoke rat and could ask her what she wants me to do, but I don't and it sucks...I'm sorry if this sounds really silly, but I love this little creature so much. Anywho...here are some Touche pics...just to remember her by.

This weekend has been a sports filled time what with the superbowl and the amazing jazz game we went to!

The Jazz scored more 3 pointers than they have ever scored in one game. The jazz beat the new orleans hornets, 110 to 88. The NY Giants won the super bowl so all the teams we were rooting for kicked butt...woot! In all this excitement we still remembered to take very cute pictures of the boys though :)
