Hannah Jade Mejeur
THREE Years Old now!!
Wow, has life really changed in the last 3 years! Our Hannah Bear is now 3 and speaks in full blown paragraphs (or tells us short novels!) and is potty trained...she is full of energy and just a fun little girl. She loves to sing and dance, animals, playing outside, riding in her wagon, playing with her sister, watching some of her favorite shows, anything Tinkerbell related, dressing up, and most typical 3 y/o activities. Her favorite color is purple right now. She knows all her colors, the alphabet, her phone number (really Daddy's cell phone #), how to write an 'H' (for Hannah, of course), and too many other things to write down. I had intended on making this a good log of all Hannah is doing and what she enjoys doing at this stage, but I am having a hard time thinking of it all...seems strange, but I guess we get so used to it all as parents ;p
I am having a hard time keeping up with this blog (not sure if anyone reads it anymore anyways since most of my friends and family are on facebook now). I tend to keep up with facebook more than this blog...I'll give the blog another shot....we'll see...holler at me if you don't see a recent post and maybe that will motivate me to keep up with it...there is so much I could post...just no time ;p
Anyways, back to Hannah- since she is so interested in Tinkerbell, I decided that a Tinkerbell birthday party was in order for this year! And since most of her guests were boys, I thought I better incorporate them too...so we made it more of a Neverland themed party with lost boys, pirates and fairies :) I got some great ideas from the web as well as from my dear buddy, Tittle, who had a similar themed party for her 3 y/o son. She suggested this awesome inflatable pirate ship filled with balls to make a ginormous ball pit! This was a huge hit with the kids! Hannah loves bubbles, so we created our own bubble solution and poured it in an inflatable baby pool with big bubble wands from the dollar store- HUGE SUCCESS!! Hannah spent 90% of her time at her party playing in the bubbles-"I love making a mess" were her exact words :) As party favors, the boys got small foam swords and the girls got fairy wings to decorate and wear. They also got the coolest homemade soap (courtesy of a good friend who makes her own soaps); girls got fairy soap, boys got either Peter Pan or Pirate soap- way too cute!! And then there is our very special friends...Mr. James who dressed up as Peter Pan- tights and all! and "Uncle" John who dressed as Captain Hook! You have to check out the pictures- they looked spectacular and Hannah LOVED it; she is still talking about her Tinkerbell party! I created her invitation using Creative Memories software. Christi Sullivan took the photo and I used it to create this...

When I asked Hannah what her favorite part of her birthday party was, she said "all my friends come to my party and sing to me and the candles!" Too sweet :) She really had a good time and we can't wait to see the pics Christi took, but here are some from our camera, my Dad's camera, and a friend's camera. If you have some to share, please send them to us :)
