New bathroom!!!

So Chris posted the blog on Christmas but forgot to share the most amazing gift this year. He renovated the bathroom. I have been talking for 2 years about how I would like to have the bath tub surround redone. It was cracked and badly damaged. So the day after Christmas he took me to Lowes and had me help him pick out tile. I thought that was all he was going to do, but he also replaced our vanity, lights, faucets, and all the hardware in the room. Here are some before and after pictures.

Before

I went to go get a hammer drill for Chris to help get the tile off. He had been using a hammer and chissile and it was taking forever and was not extrealy effective. I guess I took to long because about 30 seconds before I got home he busted trough the wall. (It is a good thing becouse we found the wall was rotted from water leaking back there) When his hand went through the wall though the metel mesh that was in the wall cought his finger and ripped it open. I walked in the house and there was blood all over the bathroom and Chris was about to pass out. Luckly he didn't need stiches. It looked a LOT worse then it was. He finished the bathroom even with his bum hand.
After

One of my favorit features is that Chris built a custom medicine cabnet into the wall. The mirror is on hinges and opens, but it looks just like a normal mirror. I am impressed. Thanks for all the hardwork hun! You are the best husband/handiman ever!!!

A Christmas to remember!

It was tons of fun to see the kids so excited about everything.

Dash loved every minute of Christmas even when that meant a box of Stoffer's (lucky for him it was his Spiderman outfit!).

Check out those guns! He wears this costume almost every day now. He is amazingly fast and has a strange voice whenever he has it on.

He also feel in love with all of these tools. Hence the formation of . . .

Spiderman the fix-it-all superhero or maybe they're just weapons, who knows?

Becca also made the kids these capes with different superhero symbols on them. On Miley's is Wonder Woman and on the other side is Batgirl. Dash's has Superman on one side and Batman on the other.

Miley and her new tricycle. She loves it but will have to wait a bit longer to use it outside due to Ohio weather.

Miley was not quite sure what to do at first but it didn't take long to get the idea!

The gifts all seemed to pile together and the kids sat and played for a few hours. It was great!
