State Fair

Every time we would pass one of the billboards for the fair Bennett would cock a doodle do from the back seat. So I knew he would enjoy the fair and I think their commercials were funny. It was rainy but we went anyways and had a fun time. I had never been before so I was shocked when they had booths where you could pay to see the world tiniest woman and a woman who was "half beautiful lady and half ugly snake". I had no idea they still did stuff like that. I was morally apposed to seeing either one and I hardly doubt anyone working for the carnies is beautiful, sorry.

For Fun

I have been trying to grow Bennett's hair out to see what it was like. Turns out hair is one of the few things Bennett got from me- curly (in parts), straight (in spots), thick (mostly) and about 40% of it is wavy. All of that amounts to just plain difficult. After I was done experimenting (or Jon told me my fun was over), I had to go out with a bang. I told Jon he could choose, mullet or mohawk. And I quote, "Honey, he is a BOY not a doll." But he settled for the mohawk.

We kept it for a few weeks but it is now gone. It was fun while it lasted, and Jon ended up loving it.

Conversation between Bennett and I

B: "Mommy, Baby?!"
Mommy: "What?"
B: "Mommy, Baby?!"
Mommy: "Go sit in time out"

I send Jon there as well when he brings it up.

Prepared.........(insert: sigh of relief)

I have been taking advantage of the case lot sales recently so I am prepared for CONFERENCE........and a disaster. But more immediately conference. Go ahead, bring on the talks of preparedness. I won't even puke in my mouth a little, as I have done in the past.
