Silly me, I forgot to post our pictures from Christmas Adam...which is obviously the day before Christmas Eve.
This was the day after Hayley got diagnosed with a thousand illnesses...or maybe just 3.
We started our morning slow. Hayley was already a lot happier but still hurting. She laid on the couch most of the morning and I just waited for her every move to tell me whether we would get to go see Santa that night or not (which had been our plan before she got sick).

I finally talked her into changing clothes for the day (but she wanted to pick out the clothes) and found her sitting in the middle of the family room reading our Ensign a while later. I was hoping that meant she was feeling better and it turns out, she already was.
I am so grateful for the Priesthood.

I gave Andersen a chocolate covered pretzel after lunch not thinking about the mess that would entail. Oh well. You only live once. :)

We decided that night that seeing Santa was a go since Hayley had been doing a lot better throughout the day.
We drove out to my in laws (to meet Davey) and when we got there, I told Hayley we were going to see Santa.
No joke, this is what she did.

She wanted NOTHING to do with him and as soon as her eyes came in contact with him, she screamed and wouldnt let us walk any closer.
So I took Andersen and snapped a picture of him with Santa. :)

Even the Grinch was there! We went to this awesome house in Pecan Creek (out in Queen Creek) where the house has music coordinating with it's lights and Santa sits outside and takes free pictures with anyone. Awesome!

Then we headed back to Nana and Papa's for pizza.
Silly Hayley loves playing with the kid nativity set and she laid them all down and told me they were sleeping.

She then asked for a blanket because "they are cold"

And then said she was tired and wanted the blanket for herself. I love her imagination.

Even though Hayley wouldn't take a picture with Santa, I am glad she was feeling well enough to leave the house for a bit and make memories with our family. It ended up being a great night.
