Numero Siete

How we spent our weekend...(a few weeks ago)...
...filled with pure ANASAZI joy.
Will got his face painted
A bear claw
More Indian Lovin'...we had a wonderful Saturday.

How can my baby girl be 7 months old already? Where is the time going?
She sits up.
She is so ticklish.
She can sit in her jumparoo for hours at a time (YES!).
She has the biggest blue eyes (still. haha.).
She pulls up onto her knees and rocks (scary!).
We love our baby girl.
She is SO happy and SO much fun to be around.

Where was I before I remember the "warmify" setting when editing pictures?
Now my baby girl actually looks like she isn't so pale!
My happy girl.
FINALLY starting her shadow box from her birth...but I am going to change it. There are pictures missing but it is in the process.

Now onto the frusterating part of my 7 month old.
Twice in one week, she fell off the bed. I swear, my dad stills asks me how it happened twice because we should've learned the first time but I'm telling you, she JUMPED the second time. I was right next to her...I guess ya had to be there. =)

So here's the play pen. Safe baby girl.

Her first Veggietale. haha.

And this is from today in the shopping cart at the store...I lifted up her car seat cover thing and she was all relaxed and sleeping with her hands behind her back.
It was hilarious!

And our poor kiddo got her first ear infection this week. Not as bad as I thought it would be but just thought I'd be the crazy mom that documents those kinds of things. =)

Peace out.

Vote

Under the photos of Hayley on the side, there is a place to vote. I may be starting up photography in January/February, depending on when we can get everything set up. So let me know because it will be a good deal on pictures. Ill make sure to put up sample pictures on the website that I create (hopefully soon!). =) Thanks.

Sorry no new pictures or anything...if I have time tonight or tomorrow, Ive got some new posts to do. =)

Jump-a-what?

Jump. Jump. Jump!
Notice the picture is blurry...cause she wouldn't stop jumping!
My Steal: This jumparoo for $15 at a garage sale!
This was her expression when she realized it moved.
A mixture of excitement and unsurety. And here she is the next day...still LOVIN' it!

Now onto my picture OVERLoAD! (and journaling)
At Hayleys 6 month appt she was 16lb 9 oz (a pound less than when we weighed her somewhere else last week. I guess scales vary!).
She is like 23 inches long (i cant remember).
Her percentages are:
Weight: 25%
Height: 12%
So...we have a midget on our hands. haha. =)
Also, no teeth yet...no teeth coming in, no signs of teeth...but I didn't get teeth until I was 15mo old so we're not worried. =)

Now really onto those millions of pictures from the past few weeks.
This is one of her new smiles...such a ham!
She has also gotten shy. Sometimes, when people make her smile, she buries her face in my shoulder or if she's laying down, she puts her head to the side and gets bashful. Its so adorable! On Thanksgiving, Davey thought it was funny to put her leggings on her head. She just thought it was ridiculous.

THREE ways to drink a bottle...lazily.
#1: holding the bottle, but resting it on a pillow.
#2: rest the bottle on the pillow and get comfortable...no hands needed.
#3: on your belly, rest the bottle on the pillow...no hands needed.
Beautiful eyes...funny lips.
HAPPY girl!
She is NOT a boy!
(one of my favorite onesies!)
This picture was not posted for the rash on her face, nor for the cut on her forehead (due to her long fingernails...ugh!) but because the bow in her hair is not on a headband! whoohoo! Her hair is growing!

So here's my monkey...I set her in her carseat and ran to grab something in my room and when I came back, this is how she was. Crazy! She is so mobile even though she doesnt crawl yet. She finds her way around.

And last but NOT least, my favorite picture of the post.
I love those blue eyes and that dirty blonde hair.

6 Months Old

Can you believe it?!!
6 Months Old!!!
Hayley is now 17 1/2 lbs...big girl! We just weighed her yesterday because she was in to get her flu shot. Her 6 month appt isn't until the day before Thanksgiving so we don't know exactly how tall she is.
We had her 6 month photo shoot last night.
It is SO fun to sit there and take like 50 pictures of her and see the beautiful pictures that turn out.
She has the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen on anybody (besides Davey).

So here's the munchkin...6 months old and all.
Cute little tongue smile. She sits up!
Whoohoo!
Still only with supervision because when she gets excited, she laughs and topples over but at least she is getting there!
She also WILL NOT lay on her back (unless she is eating or playing with toys). She has to be on her tummy or rolling over all over the place.
She is so mobile!
Here she is trying to rolling over my leg and off the couch.
Silly girl.
All of these smiles!
This is a HUGE difference from the 2 month post or even the 1 month post. From Zantac, to Levsin, to Prevacid, then back to Zantac, and from Similac Advance to Similac Soy to Alimentum...boy, this girl has had her fair share of changes. We have also had our fair share of a colicky baby! But this comes full circle because she is ALL smiles almost ALL the time now!
Hang in there mother's with colicky babies!
It gets better!!!
It REALLY gets better!
Isnt she the most beautiful baby you've ever seen? And this is another new trick that started last week.
It's also a trick that makes my life a lot easier!
She holds it by herself!
Whoohoo!
And this is what she does when she gets a tad bit lazy...
...just sucks it so hard she doesn't have to hold on anymore.
She cracks me up!

Sensitive Skin

My girl is the epitome of "white"...and even that is an understatement.
I wanted to document what her skin does just from rolling on the ground or having spit on her face. It is ridiculous!

This is my girl's face...and seriously, her pediatrician (my dad) says it is just from her drooling all the time! This is her belly after tummy time.
Little red spots all over!
This is after laying on her back and moving her head to look around.
***Viewer Discretion Advised***
I think this is hilarious...you may not...but when she sits up, she is a little plumber girl. =)
And as you can see, those bumps are on her back too!

And this is how she looked when she woke up the next morning.
(for some reason, her bougars were orangish color too...sorry it looks so gross)So...this is what we did to help it.
She loves that water.
And here is the finished product.
What a cutie.

She did also turn 6 months old on Sunday. I cant believe it!
So hopefully Ill have time to post about that sometime in the next week. =)

Garage Sale

Jamie and I had a garage sale this morning (in my driveway) because my neighborhood was having a community garage sale.
It was so fun and we made pretty good money.
Dallen and Hayley were troopers and they are the only pictures I got of the morning but it was so cute. I wanted to walk around to other's garage sales and so Jamie stayed at my house and I took the babies around. It was SO cold in the morning so here are the kids all bundled up.
Here is Dallen all bundled up.
So cute! Here is miss Hayley, all ready to go!
So after I made my way back from walking around the neighborhood (side note: Pushing two kids in a double stroller is great exercise!), this is how we found the kids.
Dallen was dead asleep...and about the fall out of the stroller.
haha
And Hayley passed out in the backseat of the stroller.
So we put Dallen in the pack'n'play...
...and let them both take a nap.
It was nice because they slept for half of the garage sale and everyone kept saying 'aww!' and telling us how cute our kids were.
(And Im telling you, when Hayley was awake and we set her out front in her bouncy chair, I think we sold more. haha!)

*******************************************

Now onto my next post...
I embarrass her.
Yeah it's true, at 5 1/2 months old, I ALREADY embarrass Hayley.
I was trying to take pictures of her and I and the whole time she wouldn't stop staring at me.
I dont think she is looking at the camera in any of them. She gives me the weirdest looks when I make faces at her!
or even when I take a picture with her. haha

And now onto the last pictures (sorry this is so long but for journaling purposes, I have some more pictures to get on here).

She thought this was hilarious. She looked me right in the eye, grabbed her headband, pulled it over, and had the BIGGEST grin on her face.
What a stinker!
My model
I love the "hand behind the head post while point to some product" haha.
She's a natural beauty!
This is love
DROOL!
That's my girl, learning to sit up but not quite there yet. =)
I love this stage!
She is SO much happier these days
