Don't you find them very realistic? Last time when he wasn't popular, they all laughed at him.. Now that Santa chose him as his sleigh, THEY ALL LOVED HIM! Who thought of such a song ah? Teach kids to be realistic only!

(Y) for Wicked!

Well, another post to end off my day! A happy one!
Despite some unhappy experiences working in SISTIC, there are still many pleasant ones!
For example, we get to have complimentary tickets to shows.. and the first one I went was...

WICKED!

Haha! Yea! Was very happy and excited the day before I went for the musical! I have never been to a musical before, and on top of that, it was for FREEEEEEE! =D
Well, went with Sharon, Amanda, and Fabian.. And erm.. and some other SISTIC colleagues, but well, they aren't really the main point =X
And oh! We were one of the first few people who get to watch Wicked first in Singapore!!
It was the last night of their rehearsal, and sort of a preview for the show..
Nevertheless, I feel that it was as good as an official one!


It was a very nice show! Nice vocals, nice story line, nice act, and nice and impressive stage and props!
Really, it's worth the watch!
If the tickets aren't that expensive, I would definitely watch it again!
And oh, I've checked.. 
The seats which we got were Cat 3 tickets, each at $165! =S
AHHHH I just wish that I could get to watch it again! =D

SISTIC

Well, worked in SISTIC for 2 weeks!
Hmmm.. I would say I'm getting a little hang out of it?
Like answering calls and basic things like that..

Well, with such job scope, of course, I'll get to answer calls from many types of customers.
Some are very nice!
Some are very difficult to understand (especially Indians.. It's just their slang...)
Some are understanding
Some are just rude
Some are just impatient
and..
Some are just.. GREEDY

Yes, some people are just simply greedy.
A couple of days ago,
a customer, who was relocated to better seats, called back to ask me where his seats were, complaining that our website is very lousy, and he has to go through much hassle in order to view where his seats were. Well, that I could agree with him..
BUT, during the relocation, he was relocated and upgraded to better seats.. In fact, it was 2 rows in front of his original seats.. But his greed was just insatiable.. -.-
He asked me if he could get better seats, and I told him that they already are better seats as compared to the original seats.. FREE UPGRADE YOU KNOW! But this guy just wanted seats which were more in front.. I mean.. SINCE YOU WANT NEARER SEATS, WHY DON'T YOU BUY THOSE MORE EXPENSIVE TICKETS IN THE FIRST PLACE!?!?!?
Then he continued, what makes you think that I'll accept those seats you have reallocated? What if I prefer my original seats, what can you do? Come on mister.. IF YOU WANT YOUR ORIGINAL SEATS, GO AHEAD! Like I care.. JUST GO SIT WITH THOSE LIGHTING AND MAKE FRIENDS WITH THEM..
I mean.. How greedy can you get??? You are already getting seats which people have to pay more and yet you are still trying to make peoples' lives difficult?

Anyway, enough of customers..
Hmmm.. I just got a feeling that I'm not very welcomed by some of my colleagues..
Is it because I've rejected many calls accidentally?
Oh yes, I felt guilty... And there's an announcement saying that there's is an increase in the number of abandoned calls.. IS IT BECAUSE OF ME? Oh well.. I don't know if it's arrow-ing at me, but I'm pretty sure that I've contributed much of them! HAHA! I abandoned like 4 calls on my first day! LOL! But I was kinda being thrown there and everyone was so busy to help me! Felt very helpless you know!

But anyway.. probably it's because of this.. people 'noticed' me? Haha.. of course in a bad way -.-
Initially, I thought.. yea.. I thought.. that going to the toilet doesn't require any permission granted.. Oh well, at least for the first few days, I've noticed that no one asked for permission to go to the toilet.. But on my 4th day of work.. When Sharon and I came back from toilet, we were FAMOUS can.. The whole call centre knew that we went to the toilet.. and they said that we took a long time! Well.. I guess the maximum we took was 5 min? We walked there, took turns to go toilet, and walked back.. HOW LONG CAN IT BE!?!? But anyway.. point taken.. ask for permission.. just like a secondary school kid. -.-

Anyway.. something which I want to highlight, and actually, the purpose of writing this post starts here..
'Shouldn't seniors be more friendly towards newbies to make them like their new environment so that they would continue to stay on?'
I guess.. towards this little, and erm.. short (I know I'm bad) lady.. the answer is no..
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
That day, when Sharon and I were exiting the toilet place after we ended our shift, she was coming in opposite direction..
The door, being transparent, allowed us to see each other from a distance away. Well, despite seeing us, she gave a 不削 look, as if she don't know us and ignored us..
Don't you think it's very rude? I wanted to say Bye to her, but I guess it was redundant..
Well, not sure why she had this attitude? Did I stepped onto her toes? I merely abandoned a few calls? Haha! Even if I did something wrong at work, shouldn't you, at least, acknowledge our presence? Thought she was a nice person, but guess I was wrong? Well, prove me wrong.

But okay, there's many nice people as well.. That includes my 1st buddy, Insiya. A middle aged lady, very motherly and helpful.. And she has thought me many things! Sistic is a better place because of you! =)

And oh! There's this CSO.. She was a bit unfriendly in the first place, towards Insiya.. Insiya was asking her a question and she gave a 'shouldn't you already know the answer for this question' tone of answer to Insiya.. And I felt she was rude.. But during the next few days, I realised she's actually a helpful person, hmmm.. perhaps.. only on non-moody days.. But nevertheless, your marks are higher now!

And yea, I just hope that work will get better, and that unfriendly little lady will be more respectful!

New found love!

Well, what's new in Life?
I guess.. it would be working at another new environment, SISTIC call centre..
Hmmm.. yea as the name suggests, I'm working in a call centre answering calls...
What I like is that I can work with friends and of course, give flexible schedules which suits the needs of a very busy person.. like... ME! =D

Oh well, side track a little.. I really am busy! Haha! Realised I got things on every day! And oh, I'm going to learn guitar!!! Got my new found love! =D

Gonna start lessons from this Wednesday on! =D
Hopefully I'll be able to master it fast! =S

Okay! Back on track, I wanted to blog about work actually.. But I guess I shouldn't mix happy and a tinge of unhappy stuff together! So.. refer to the next post! HAHA! =D

Haha! Oh my.. I was trying to find my way from AMK to my friend's house at Punggol Edgefield plains for her birthday party.. An estimated 13 min journey took me more than an hour.. HAHA! Thank goodness my fuel tank is almost full!

Shall not elaborate where I got to while trying to find my way.. because.. errrr.... I DON'T KNOW EITHER!
But thank goodness to helpline Daddy and Joanna.. If not.. maybe i'll still be on the road! Haha! JUST JOKING! I think I'll end up going home instead to the party! Haha! And they were worried that I can't find my way home from seng kang to Bedok.. so Jo was trying very hard to explain to this 路痴.. Before parting, she asked, 我怕你驾不出去.. But it sounded like 我怕你嫁不出去! hahaha! And I was telling her.. If I really can't, I'll call her and ask her to help me with matchmaking lor! Anyway, thanks dearies, I managed to get home safely, without getting lost! HAHA! Oh well, almost got lost, but thanks to a cab, really, he blocked me from changing to the wrong lane and I ended up going straight.. WHICH WAS ACTUALLY THE CORRECT ROUTE! PHEWWWW.. Or else.. I'll be frantically calling for help! Probably I should like Morse Code so that I could get SOS!

Oh well, an adventure indeed, but not one which I would like to experience again.

First week of ho-ho-holidays!

HOHOHO! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! 
YES! IT'S ON ITS WAY! 

Anywho, it's HOLIDAYS!!
Okay, this post is a bit lag.. because my exams have ended exactly a week ago! =D
Oh, but there's a long list of social needs which kept me busy until now!!

Remember what I said about my holidays-to-do list? It's getting longer each day!
Fulfilling Level 3 of Maslow Hierarchy of Needs, I started off with a steamboat right after my exams on 8 Nov! =D
TADAAA! Here's the evidence! Presenting to you 6 'W's, with 1 inverted and a 'T'!

Following that eventful day, it was an afternoon out with Mum!
For movie of course! (Super long never watch you know!)
Well, watched IN TIME, pretty nice concept, but the ending was... hmm.... you can do better ;)
Oh well! Dinner was with Dearies @ Bugis Fish n Co!

AH-HAH! The fun doesn't end there!
Thursday and Friday (10-11 Nov 2011) 晴
It was our BATAM 2D1N trip! =D
Taken while waiting for our boat ride to Batam!
 Oh! Guess I forgot to mention! Eng joined the trip halfway!
Although he's in disguise, we could recognise him! =)
Try harder, Best!
 Ah-hah! 
重头剧is at night! 
For just an additional of SGD12, you get to soak your legs!! in the hotel's TOILET
haha! There's this big tub and we decided to waste some water!
 Of course, not forgetting to bring some snacks and alcohol along!
Eh! The alcohol only SGD1+ lor!
And there's this Bin Bin in Coconut milk flavour!!
And we had keropok and erm... some.. KUEH!
Yeah.. ALL IN THE TOILET =)
Oh yeah, I ought to mention..
The only nice place to shop in shopping centres there is...the....
SUPERMARKET!
Super cheap! LOOK AT ALL THE GOODIES!
Noodles mainly at 10cents-20 cents
Alcohol at $1+
The eye roller at $5+ there (Singapore is selling it for $19.90!)
And yup, the theme for this trip was to fulfill our Level 1 & 2 of Maslow Hierarchy of Needs!
In case you don't know..
Level 1 - Physiological Needs (Include food and water, things which are essential for survival)
Level 2 - Safety (Batam is scary at night! We had some problems trying to fulfill that need!)
Anyway! Nice trip! 
Just a pity that we could 上演 the part where we walk on the beach barefooted..
Maybe leave it to the next time! =)

Well, Back to Monday.. And it was MENSA @ TP for lunch with Mum, followed by passport making (drove there, and got lost! As usual!)
Tuesday was MOVIES again!
This time, TINTIN and his adventures!
Rather nice and funny! Especially the front part where they introduce the production team..
It was SILENT
Nobody dared to make a sound, and the whole theater was real quiet! (I was eating my crackers halfway and had problems finishing it -.-)
Quite amusing I must say!

Oh well, it's first day of work tmr! Time for bed! Hope work's gonna be great! Time to earn some ka-ching ka-ching! =)

Fate

Have you ever hoped to see someone when you been to some places?
I always do.. but I always ended up not getting to see these people I thought I would..
Well.. but on the other hand..
I always get to see friends when I didn't have any expectations..
Well.. today I was expecting to see someone at TM, and I really did!
Was that really fate or what?

I hope it is! =)

Don't ever give up hope in Life

Interesting story

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well that the farmer had accidentally left uncovered. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway, so it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.





what doesn't destroy you makes you stronger.

And not to give up hope in Life.

Holiday-to-do list!

Alright, you know what? I'm actually looking forward to exams.. I'm crazy!
But only with exams, will I have my holidays!!!
Holidays! Why are you always hiding behind exams? Can you come out and meet me on your own??

Anyway, I have decided to come out with a to do list for my holidays! Teacher says planning is good and one should plan for his/her future! =D


  • Find a job, earn some money to support my long list of social needs
  • Learn guitar! =D
  • Okay.. Or maybe Ukulele!
  • Come up with a syllabus with my friend
  • Go either JB/Kluang
  • Visit Meiji factory and have a chillax session with the girls
  • Cchms ZR outing
  • TPCO Plucked String outing?
  • Meetings with my dear dear friends!
  • Compose a song
  • If possible, pick up Jap again
  • Clean my cupboard
  • Visit the dentist!
  • Trim/Cut my hair! (should i continue keeping long hair??)
  • Celebrate my BIRTHDAY!! (2 mil please!!)
  • Batam trip!
  • Learn Korean!

A penny for your thoughts

Well, meet an old lady at the bus stop outside the MRT station..
Hmmm, she looked kinda dirty, with sunglasses, and wearing a dress I think
If I'm not wrong, there's a stench coming out from her..
And she was asking for $1.20 for her transport fees.
Well, I guess majority's initial thought would be is she a swindler?
But what if she isn't?
And although I had the exact $1.20, I didn't gave her anything more than 30 cents..
Well, I did told a lie that I didn't had $1.20 and she told me I could give her $2 if I didn't have small change..
But what would you do if you were me?

At that time after I moved to another spot to wait for my bus..
I was wondering what if what's she said was the truth?
Wouldn't I be making her feel more helpless?
But what if she's lying?
And what if in future, I was the one who forgot to bring money out? What would happen to me? =/

Hmmm, or maybe if there's such scenario in the future, I should just ask her where and which bus is she going/taking and help her pay directly instead of giving her the money? At least you know where your money goes to?

Forget Fu

Hi, my name is Forget and I'm Forget Fu.
Muddle head me, don't know what's wrong with me!
I've been having trouble remembering things!

Like..
A few weeks ago, I met RJ and told her that we could run on a Tuesday..
Then after meeting her, I met ET..
And she told me about her having classes alone and I thought it would be fun to crash a lecture..
And we settled for the same Tues!
So I rejected RJ.. But.. That's not all!
A couple of days later, I asked SL when he want to have theory lessons..
And I scheduled it on the same Tuesday too.. All 3 things at almost the same time!

Well, there's more!

Had my piano lesson on a Saturday.. And I was in a hurry (as usual)..
So I quickly grabbed my music file and off I went..
BUT BUT BUT! I forgot to take my things again! I forgot what I forgot to take, except my theory books..
I only remembered that I went down, up, down, up, and down again!
That day, one of my neighbors was moving out, so they were using the lift..
And to avoid seeing them again and again..
I decided to climb up SIX LEVELS OF STAIRS...
(I know it's not a lot, but try it when you are in a hurry and you are walking with lightspeed!)

AND OH!

Had a job briefing last Friday.. Was early and waited for time to pass before going out at 12 exactly..
Upon reaching the bus stop (after at least 8 min walk), I realised..
I didn't bring my wallet..
Although I had 3 ezlinks (I bought 3 coz I always forgot to bring them),
all 3 were in my wallet!
Bo bian.. went back home and take my wallet and walk back to the bus stop again!

But.. That's not the end!

Today, I was rather on time.. SUPPOSED to meet Anne at 2pm for our Singapore Flyer date!
Before leaving my house, I told myself that I have to bring my wallet!
And I walked to my music school (10 min walk) to pass some stuff
After leaving my school for a couple of min, I REALISED....
I DIDNT BRING MY SINGAPORE FLYER TICKETS!!!!! (BANGS WALL)
So I walked back home to take and walked to the bus stop

Poor memory leads to healthy lifestyle I guess? I've been walking here and there and everywhere!
Well, since I can recall so many things... Maybe my memory isn't that bad afterall?

Something to remember..

Was feeling a little dejected ytd.. But thanks for cheering me up! Love you! (you know who you are!)
Anyway, was feeling rather upset because one of my students actually said she dislikes me..
Well, not sure whether she meant it though.. =/
Well, guess in her heart she really really really wants her cousin to teach her piano.. or prob, not just piano.. she just wants to be with her cousin..
Sometimes I thought kids are easy to handle, easy to pacify and easy to win their hearts.. But apparently, I'm kinda wrong..
Guess I'm not doing what I'm best in, but I'll do my best. Failure is just the stepping stone to success..

I will win her heart. In a good way..

p.s. actually I don't know what I'm best in though.. =S
Can someone tell me what I'm best in? Or good at?

一年了

A year ago,

I went for my driving test and gotten a kind-hearted yet stern looking tester..
Because I forgot to check my blind spots twice, he was very disappointed and asked me..
"Is this your first time?"
I nodded..
He followed "Then I think you will have to come back again"
But yet, he gave me a pass.
For that, I always remembered to check my blind spots while turning left/right.
Thanks. =)

After which, I went for a music exam talk followed by MA4.

Oh well, 一年了。。。How times fly, and how things have changed.
Many things seemed different now.. Hopefully these changes are for the better =)

the art of constructing a sentence using 1-10!

This is hilarious... ..even an Englishman could not construct sentences using numeric,which is exclusive only to Malaysians and Singaporeans.

Ah Lek was asked to make a sentence using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

Not only did he do it 1 to 10, he did it again from 10 back to 1. This is what he came up with.....

1 day I go 2 climb a 3 outside a house to peep. But the couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down. The man rushed out and wanted to 5 with me.. I ran until I fell 6 and threw up. So I go into 7 -eleven and grabbed some 8 to throw at him. Then I took a 9 and try to stab at him. 10 God he runaway.

10 I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left 7 -eleven. Next day I called my boss and told him I was 6 . He said 5 , tomorrow also no need to comeback 4 work. ! He also asked me to go climb a 3 and jump down. I don't understand. I am so nice 2 him but I don't know what he 1.

Leadership Management

I realised, although this semester's modules were rather heavy, somehow or rather, I've enjoyed myself in a couple of lectures. For example, Ethics and Leadership. Hmmm, I have yet to find joy in Organisational Theory and Investments.. Perhaps they are just too dry or rather, I have yet to relate them with real life situations...

Well, I pretty much like Leadership's lectures, perhaps because I was once a leader and now an 'outsider' looking at how the co committee is run. It sometimes set me thinking and relating theories to these real life practices.

I had no idea if I was a good/bad leader, or maybe just an average one I guess. However sometimes I regretted taking too much of the 'back seat'. Perhaps the position would have been more meaningful if I have taken more initiative and if I have done more for the group. But well, it's over and I guess what I can do now is to keep this lesson in mind.

During lesson, I have learnt that, in an event of failure, one should adopt different perspectives in facing this challenge. Well, an example would be during the global financial crisis, everyone looked into what went wrong and hoped that these factors would be prevented in the future so that history doesn't repeats itself. However, little companies have looked into what did other companies did well in order to survive through this period. Likewise, when a problem occurred during an event, we would try to pinpoint what went wrong and whose fault is it, which is often negative. Instead of just identifying one's weaknesses, we should evaluate what are his/her strengths and what did he/she did well. Although the other members of the committee did not contribute to the problem directly, what could they do in order to overturn the situation? Always, the fault lies in just the 1 or 2 person who's in charge, but I believe that in a group, it should be an 'one for all, all for one' situation. In a team of individuals with power dominance, we should complement each other strengths instead of clashing them together. How so? I'm not too sure. Perhaps with more interaction? But one thing for sure, communication is the stepping stone to success. Not just communication, but constant communication.

Communication, a word which does not only tell you HOW to do it, but WHY you are doing so. However, CONSTANT communication is vital in order to succeed. A leader should not only tell his/her members what to do, how to do, why you should do, but also communicate to check if the person understands his job, and to check if the person has done the right things in the right way.

Communication, a word which looks simple, but difficult to do it in the best way. Sometimes ideas would be communicated wrongly and often that's the case, and that's how conflict arises. Well, that's why I prefer face to face interaction instead of the virtual world (you won't know how the person looked/sounded like when talking about a particular topic). Even face-to-face might result in communication breakdown, what's more in a virtual platform? Whatever it is, always think through what you are going to say instead of just blabbering out what came to your mind first. It's really a way to prevent conflicts.

Oh well, blogged here so that I would remember yesterday's lecture. Felt that it is very meaningful and very true and is definitely a lesson which I want to remember for life. =)

Changes

It's sad to see how Life changes and how things became different...
How close friends who used to communicate with each other everyday had drifted apart
With little topics to talk about now
But I will still hold on to the belief that 'this too, shall past'
And that perhaps, one day, distant friends will become part of my life
And perhaps, one day, we might be close again
I still believe that it is a cycle

Mummy.. It's overrrr~~~

WOOOHOOO!
Oh well! Haven't been doing much updating for long!
Hmmmm... soooo... what happened during the holidays?
Oh well, 2 months seemed SO SHORT!!
Guess that's because I've been busy that time seems to fly very very the fast!

*checks schedule*

Well, worked 5 different jobs? Haha! Unbelievable right? But then, they are mostly all temp jobs, those 1 or 2 days event lah! Don't worry! I'm not overworking myself! I'm just overplaying! Haha! =D

FOUR SEASONS - Hmmm, worked quite a number of days ah! Worked 15 times there! But didn't really quite like the environment over there.. Probably I would feel helpless and bored at times.. Or probably I was too used to Bakerzin UE! =( People there were rather nice, but sometimes, there's something missing... But oh well, guess I won't be back anymore! =D

Deustche Bank + Pranic Healing + Simon & Kucher Event - Oh! I love all these jobs! Simple job scope + able to work with friends + HIGH PAY!!! = HAPPINESS! =D Oh, but good things don't last long.. =S

Piano lessons - Getting a little bit more idea to better guide my students.. But I guess it would take lots of patience! Hmmm, way to go, Weilin! Win all your students' hearts! HAHA! *Hopefully*

9. Toptable session with some monsters!
10. Some bakerzin chillax session!
11. Many 85 sessions
12. CO CAMP!!!!!!
13. 2 concerts (PA and SYCO!)
13. A couple of birthday celebrations (PC & Naomi!)
14. Farewell chalet and sent off the 3 monsters!
15. AND WAHAHAHAHHA! UNIVERSAL STUDIO SINGAPORE! (YEWW ASS ASS!)


6th July - Universal Studio SINGAPORE!!!

Oh well, guess many of you don't know this! I haven't really been to an amusement park officially! Only went once to Escape and played very limited rides.. I don't count that as one! But well, 6th July 2011 WAS MY FIRST!!!

And of course, I didn't had prior experiences on exciting roller coaster rides, merry go rounds... Only once on the tea cup, those that goes round and round and you can spin yourself until you almost fly out!

 Oh! This was my 1st and most exciting roller coaster ride!!! =D
It's one which goes up very quickly, spin around, twist and turn until you feel like you are really really going to fly out!!!
Oh, but after the first, the others aren't that scaryyy!! FUNNNNNNNN!!! =D
Oh we had 2 of the Human track rides, and 4 of the cylon track rides.. HAHAHA! SUPER FUN MAN!

Most of us got drenched, especially Wan Ting!! LOL!
And the guys were dry after the ride.. coz...

And by the way, we were on the boat with a korean couple and another guy..
Awkward only lor!

 Oh oh oh! Another jurassic park ride! 
This time we were on a 2 seater ride..
USS is truly beautiful at night with all the lightings and such!

Having learnt their lesson, the guys were fully prepared to strip anytime! LOL!
There's this waterfall in front of us, and we were approaching..
So Jor and Eng quickly stripped and the water stopped!
And oh, THEY WERE ONCE AGAIN NAKED IN THE PHOTO! 
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

AND OH AND OH! THE MUMMY RIDE!!
SUPER FUN LAHHHH!!!
It's quite pitched dark inside, so it was rather interesting coz you wouldn't know what's coming next!
But we took 3 rides and managed to find out where's the camera located at by the 3rd ride
And we did a SIAN pose although the picture was captured at the most trilling part of the ride..
Hmmm, not that it wasn't trilling, WE ARE JUST SGNs!
HAHAHA! LOVE IT MAN!

 And yeps, <3 Universal Studio Singapore
A pity it cost $66 to go in! =S
And oh, some of us ended up with bruises =S =S =S
But I guess.. 
IT WAS WORTH THE TRY! =D

Went on 3 trips this time! Erm, 2 which I had serious stomach flu after I came back..
Wan Ting says I wasn't fated to go overseas =(

For 3 pax, they have an extra room and the hotel is rather big!
And oh, went swimming + massaging there too!
Quite an unique experience!

Beautiful memories...

Oh well.. seems like it has been long since I last blogged!
Hmmmm.. what should I say? Haha!
Well.. now working in 4 seasons.. on and off work..
Purely a part timer, making non alcoholic drinks at the bar and clearing the plates the full timers bring in and calling the stewarding..
Hmm well, being in touch with those oil, hot stuff, water and such.. made my index finger look like a finger belonging to some old woman?
Haiz.. this job made me miss bakerzin even much more =/
Went to Suntec's Bakerzin a couple of days ago and saw Fred and Tammy..
Had a short chat..
Missed working with them a lot...
I think if UE is still around, I would most probably go back for work.. Nearer, better working hours, better colleagues..
How I miss you guys =/ so much.. =/

Oh well, CO camp a few days back..
Haha! Really had a fun session at night talking to fellow alumni
About games like Gunbound, Neopets, Runescape, Maple, etc etc etc..
Side note: Shao ren is a pro gamer!
Those were the memories I would say.. Miss those days too =/

Anyway, found that the orientation camp had actually been a good platform for the junior comm to know how to run an event..
As Clement has said, it's good that you guys encounter such problems now than in the future when you are out in the working environment.

Well, made me reflect years ago when I was the head of the committee...
Must really say that I miss working with you guys too =)
Events/Days/Jobs were easier when you guys were together with me..
Well, felt that the committee had a couple of people who likes to lead... but sometimes it's good to take the back seat. =)
Guess they will get to even out their strengths and weaknesses one day.
A good learning experience! =)
And yes, I'm missing those days again =)

Went for a chalet today.. set myself thinking...
So many people are going overseas for further studies..
partly because the Government allows more Foreign Talents to take up the places in Govt Uni..
But what happened to us, the polytechnic graduates?
Well, overseas studies is an option I guess...
And that's why so many of my friends plan/are planning to go overseas..
How would Life be without them?
I dare not think...
But well,
I'll tell you guys when the time comes. =)

I'm missing way too much things now..
Am I old or what?
I hope not?
I'm half  into the 21s! Hope it will not happen so soon! =S

Hmm, well, went for 2 overseas trips recently, Kluang and ChiangMai.. If if if if if if if, I got the mood and strength, I'll blog my trips out for the 1st time okay? Oh.. but that's a big IF lah.. And ya.. thanks for reading this post.. You have just wasted probably 34 secs of your life! =D

Farewell UE Bakerzin.

Well, just came back from Bakerzin's gathering.. and from what I have gathered, it's closing down, for good. Not sure if it's true or not, but it's sad for sure.. That place holds many memories for me.. From crazy times with PC and shah, service trainings from my dear FTimer, Tammy, Shah and Wilfred, and making many new friends which I still keep till now, Shermagne. Working has never been boring with you guys around.. I have people acting like 4 years old with me, Crystal, and learnt values in life through this journey.


Although receiving complaints from customers isn't what I would like to remember, but it made me know how protective my superiors, Betty and Nicole were. Although doing opening alone is stressful, it made me realise how helpful my kitchen staff ah go was. Although working is tiring, I'm always filled with nice food by my chefs, Elven, Fulin, Ah Hong. Although the ice was heavy, caring people like Ah Bin and Ming Qiang are always around to help me.. Although weekends were really crazy, but I'm glad I get to see and interact with people like huifen jie, tiffany and si ying.. Although initial working life was tough to adapt, I got to know these wonderful part timers, Mira, Joseph, Eugene (the dao kia), Atika, Brendan, Jordan, Debbie, De Wei (the esp quiet one).. and prob more.. And oh ya, specially add this for one of the chefs Ah Yih.. He rarely smiles, He's dao, but I think you can look much better when you smile.. really.. I don't believe you are so hostile.. Oh well, can't let you have time to prove this anymore.. I dunno where you are now also =S

**Oh ya, how could i possibly forget one of my managers, Ken? Well, he's one nice guy and actually when thinking back, quite fun to be with? During Deutsche Bank Usher job, I think I saw someone like him at Sentosa Tanjong Beach Club.. Really wonder if it's him.. Although I was hoping the whole night to see that person again, I didn't managed to.. Hmm.. fate bah.. Oh well, hope he's doing well after he left Bakerzin..

On a side note, So many people have left Bakerzin.. Let's not say who left.. Let's just say who's left Behind.. Well, for service staff, Gordon, Tammy (Suntec), and Wilfred (I dunno where you are posted to).. and for kitchen, Ah Hong (Suntec), and no1 else i know.. well prob ah Bin too? Well, Bakerzin really isn't the one I remembered already.. So many things have changed, life has moved on..
I guess the list just doesn't end.. And of course there's this little girl, whom I wish to remember. Her name is Fatimah, her mum's name is Shah, her best friend's name is Weilin, her enemy name is Pei Ching I think? Haha! All such a coincidence! But she's a cute little girl who loves our macaroon, oreo cheesecakes, blueberry cheesecake. A girl who never fails to ask if the ice water is free.. A girl who challenges UE staff with tic tac toe and goes I V.S YOU! Haha! Well, a pity I didn't manage to add her on fb.. But I do hope we will recognise each other and see each other if possible..

Well, so many memories.. Fear, Happiness, Fun, Tiring, Complaining, Doing Maintenance, hurting my fingers, being locked up by Shah in the locker room and him trying to scare me, being piggybacked and flipped while sitting on the sofa by shah, and PC and my locker which was filled with many mr and miss little magnets from 7 11 (a pity i only managed to retrieve one), everything happened in that small little outlet of UE Bakerzin. I will miss you guys and all the fun we had.. And thanks friends who came to visit when I'm working. You guys really motivate me.

REMEMBER, IN LIFE, YOUR LIFE WOULDN'T STAY AT THE BOTTOMLESS PIT, NOR STAY AT THE HIGHEST PEAK OF HAPPINESS, SO DON'T EVER GIVE UP IF YOU ARE FACING FAILURE, AND NEVER BE TOO COMPLACENT WHEN THINGS TURN GOOD. CHERISH WHAT YOU HAVE BECAUSE, THIS TOO, SHALL PASS... NO MATTER GOOD OR BAD.

IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU PRESERVE THE HAPPINESS...

FOR NOW, I'M TRULY A HAPPY SOUL, A HAPPY GIRL =)
