Painting like Pop Pop Cheney
Wow can you believe I'm blogging about family and not the business?? Yay for me! Finally getting my priorities straightened out:) Today is a rainy day and my kids are just so sweet. Kota wanted to paint today like Pop Pop Cheney (My dad who was genius artist) and so hello!!! I want to enable him artistically in any way! I saw on Rachel Ray this idea..use washable paints (I had them already from my Liquid Couture shoot found on my photography blog www.ariphotography.blogspot.com) and let them paint on the inner dorr of the dishwasher..then after they are doen with their masterpiece simply turn on the wash- dishes and all! Here are my little dudes...

Graffiti Shoot with the boys
So I found a location that just screams Ari photography- I've learned this year that I really am an artistic photographer- not really the norm of the photographer- take it or leave it right? I love these photos- especially of Kota- Im afraid I got all the good ones of Deacon before I changed his shirt to the grey one- and I like the grey one better with the back drops. You'll notice my kids have suckers- again!!! I just had to do it- the suckers I had from shabby shores matched perfectly with the graffiti in the back ground!
Kind of a funny story- below the boys were fire ants!!! Poor Kota got bit- what a sport- his knee got all red, but they subsided and the boys let me keep taking picts- it was tricky to get the lighting right! Im actually using my car and a board to cover them:) Above is my favorite photo of the shoot. Working on putting together my Christmas Card sets of photos. Enjoy!
Hallowen 2009
I finally got the smily photos of the both of the boys once daddy came along and made them smile! I dont know why I set myself up for failure sometimes but I just keep hoping that they will sit perfectly for me!:) he are my boys on halloween, just before my friend Beccas Party- afterward we all went trick or treating together. Good times!! Clearly you can see that Kota is a karate kid and Deacon is an octopus (the same costume Kota wore when he was one while we were living in Montana). Cute little dudes!
