LOved This!

Thanks for sharing Dani! How perfect this is! And how I needed to hear it! You are such a wonderful mother already! I am still aspiring to get there! loves!
p.s. I need help designing Brya and Ellies rooms, any suggestions, my most talented sister'-in-law?

Brya is one!

Our little sunshine princess turned 1! How time flies! What a year it has been! She started out 3 weeks early, in the NICU for a night and now look at her! She is the craziest, busiest, most beautiful little thing! She has the best smile, it lights up the whole room! She loves to give "loves", she will just run into your arms and snuggle right in! She started walking at 10 months and is now RUNNING through the house, up and down the stairs and everywhere in between! She is curious about everything and just loves to unload cupboards. She has eight teeth so far and I think a couple more trying to break through any day now. She is a total daddy's girl (no matter how much I try to bribe her :), She just loves her dad! As soon as he is home, nobody else is good enough! She follows him around and has him wrapped around her little finger! Her first official word was, of course, "Da Da", and second was "Dat", for "that". Dat pretty much is for everything. If she wants to show you something, give her something, play with something, its always a point and a "Dat". She loves to carry things around the house, especially shoes. She loves it when we put hats on her head, and prances around like she's in a fashion show. We had a fun, little, quiet birthday party for her with just us and Grandma Olsen (who was able to fly out for the weekend). I made a big chocolate cake, and we lit the candle and sang to her. Right at the end of our beautiful rendition of "Happy Birthday", she reached out and grabbed the lit candle and started screaming!! Poor thing! As soon as she got some of the chocolate cake going she was fine though! She wasn't really sure about opening the presents, but loved playing with them after!

Here are her one year stats:
Height: 29 3/4 inches, which is the 70th percentile.
Weight: 21 lbs 2.2 oz, which is the 50th percentile. (we were surprised at this, because she has the most chubbiest thighs, cheeks, and bum - its hard not to just squeeze her all over cuz she's so squishy!
Head: 46 cm, which is the 75th percentile.
We are getting ready to move her to a forward facing car seat, which she can't wait for! She hates not being able to see what is going on! I can't believe she is one! Love you little princess! What would we do without your happy, smiling face?????
