Long overdue post!
3 kids really make time fly by! I can't believe Anna is 1 year old!
Isn't she a doll! We had a small family party. I just had to make one of those doll cakes.
We have had a quiet year. Nothing too exciting, just livin' life and loving it. Hunter is in 1st grade and doing great! His last report card showed straight A's. He is also an excellent big brother. (I love these pictures!)
Jackson is our funny one which at times means trouble maker, but you just have to laugh at his antics(check out the archives for the shower incident) He likes to play in flour, so if the house is too quiet and I can't find Jackson I just look in the pantry.
Anna is a smiley happy girl who already loves to play with dolls, ya! I can't wait to play Barbies with her.
We do have a new addition, meet Kitty (we are too lame to come up with a real name)
Someone dumped kittens at Nate's job site. Some of them died, others were taken home by some of the workers, Kitty was the last one. One cold night Nate brought her home. The kids love her so I guess she is here to stay.
Well that about wraps it up. Hope everyone has a magical holiday season.
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE KRUZIE KIDS!

One of "those" kids
It have known for a while that I have one of "those" kids. You know the ones who scream at the top of their lungs in restaurants, run around the grocery store, pull all the books off the shelf at the library. Basically that unruly child where everyone looks around(including me)wondering "who is that child's mother and why can't she control her kid?" Well yesterday took the stage. We were in Wal-Mart and Jackson was running around as usual. I was trying to make it a game by saying "on your mark, get set, go!" and hoping he would run back to me. It backfired and he ran in the opposite direction. So I chased him down and scooped him up. That is when he started yelling to everyone in the store "Help me! Help me!" Thanks Jackson, I always wanted to see my face on America's Most Wanted ;)

Birthdays & Blessing
Hunter and Jackson both celebrated a birthday last week. Hunter on the 2nd of February and Jackson on the 1st. Hunter turned 6 and had a party with some friends from school. He still really likes Star Wars so for the 3rd birthday in a row we had a Star Wars party. The kids had a great time eating pizza and playing games, but then again what group of 6 year olds doesn't have fun when they are all hyped up on soda and cake!
We saved Jackson's party till the 7th, the same day we blessed Anna, so that the family could be there. We still celebrated on the actual day of birth with just our little family, then of course we recognized Hunter at the family party too, so my kids are pretty much all partied out!
Anna's blessing was beautiful. Nate did a wonderful job and blessed Anna with so many good things in life. Afterward we went to Amber Springs (you know, that event center Nate has been building. Get used to the name I will probably refer to it alot) where we had cake and opened birthday presents. Anna got a few things too since it was also her big day.
I tell ya it is nice to have all my kids birthdays around the same time because now I don't have to do this again for a whole year! All in all it was a great day. Thank you to all who came and all who wanted to but where unable, you were missed.

Family Photos
We had family photos taken last week. Finally! It has only taken 5 years! The last family photo we took was when Hunter was 9 months old. Yes Hunter, not Jackson. We had a photographer come out to Amber Springs. That is the event facility that Nate has been building since we moved to Texas. The building is complete as is our family (for now), so we thought we would commemorate the occasion with photographs. I mean when people are as good looking as we are why photograph them? I think they turned out alright. Jackson was more interested in throwing rocks into the water so the photographer ended up taking his shots doing just that. It is defiantly true that we are our own worst critics. I can pick out my every flaw and I imagine myself looking a lot different than I actually do. It surprises me every time I look in the mirror:) I picture myself taller and skinnier(I live in a perpetual state of denial). Still I am glad to have lasting images of my family. I want to forever remember the sweet faces of my children. Of course is doesn't hurt to have a hunk of a husband either:)

- Jackie
- Most who view this blog already know about us, but for those who don't here goes. Jackie is a stay-at-home mom and has been married to a very handsome man for the past 12 years. We have two equally handsome boys and one beautiful daughter. Hunter is 6 and wants to be a Jedi Knight when he grows up. Jackson is 2 and adores his big brother. Anna is our newest edition and we are glad to have her. Nate (the handsome husband) is a general contractor and works in his family's business. We started this blog to keep up with friends and family members who live far away in hopes of keeping in better contact with those we care about, so if you are one of them "this blogs for you!"
