Cinderella

For those of you who don't know Jennifer was recently the lead in the school musical Cinderella. She did a fabulous job! It was so fun as a mom to sit in the audience and enjoy her talents. It was a lot for her to take on with all the music and speaking parts. She tackled it though like a pro. I attended all three performances and loved every minute of it. I will try to post a live video as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Missing Shoelaces

Every night I go walking with a group of women in the neighborhood.  Usually I grab my shoes at the last minute and put them on as I am running out the door.  A few nights ago I followed my usual routine but when I went to grab my shoes, my shoelaces were gone.  Now I had seen Jared with a bunch of shoelaces a little while before that.  I asked him where he had gotten all those laces.  Oh, mom they are from old shoes no one ever uses.  So I went on a quest to find the pile of laces to see if mine were among the ones that on one ever uses.  Sure enough upon finding the laces, there were mine all knotted and tangled with the rest.  By the time I got them all untangled and back in my shoes I had missed my walk.  I couldn't even be mad at him because I thought it was just so funny that Jared thought I never use my exercise shoes!
