Conversation with my Friend Russell over the phone Sunday night:
Russell: "Hey what are you doing?"
Me: "Just sitting at home."
Russell: "I need you to come run some errands with me. I'll be there in 15 minutes"
Me: "Ok"
15 minutes later....
Russell: "Hey I just pulled up. I'm in the silver van"
Me: "I'll be right out"
I hop in the van and Russell quickly locks the doors. He looks at me and says: "So...we're not alone..."
Me: "Russell are you kidding me?!"
Yep...sure enough there was a corpse in the back of the van...the head was about 6 inches away from my arm. Russell works for the mortuary here in Cedar City and had to deliver a body to Beaver Sunday night, and kidnapped me for the ride. I told him that if he ever did that to me again, to consider our friendship over.

Drinks All Around!
As my good friend Brittany aka Spitty always says "I love weddings! Drinks all around!" Weddings are always an exciting event to attend, and not only was I able to attend the wedding of the year, but I was also able to be apart of the magical day.
My good friend Timian married the man of her dreams on Saturday and she asked me to be an usher for the ring ceremony. (Little did they know that they would actually need me to walk one of the bridesmaids down the aisle as one of the groom's men was delayed at the airport).
It was such a wonderful day filled with friends and love and food and cake. It made me so excited to someday start my career as a wedding planner/reception hall owner.
Congratulations Brandon and Timian! I love ya!

Trick-or-Treat!
Halloween is just around the corner, and is one of my favorite times of year! Last year I decided to do my first ever group themed costume, Scooby Doo, which turned out better than I ever could have imagined.
I wanted to carry on the tradition this year, but wasn't sure what to do. We had thought about being 80's rock/pop stars i.e. Madonna, Cindy Lauper, Prince, etc. and we also thought about being TV commercial personalities i.e. Flo from Progressive, the Orbit gum lady, Dex, the Verizon guy etc. But as my cousins and brother and sister and I were sitting at a family reunion over the summer, the rest of the family decided to pop in a particular movie, and we all knew at that instant we had our group theme.

Costumes
Tis the season for dressing up, which is why Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. To quote the ever hilarious movie Mean Girls: "Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it." And therein lies the beauty of it all. You can be whatever you want, and no one can say a word to you. Especially those who don't dress up. And why? Because it's Halloween! Dressing up is what you are supposed to do! So I urge you my non-Halloweeners, to let loose, let your freak flag fly and go to town this Halloween!
The past couple of years I've kind of been into the whole group costume thing. Last year My older brother, my younger sister, my cousin and me went as the Scooby-Doo gang (pictures below) . This year we have decided to continue the group theme and have come up with another (although probably not as epic) group theme. I will include a "hint picture" to see if you can guess what we are doing.
