Sometimes i forget how tiny our little Cole was! I found this picture on Chris phone, This is when he was doing his carseat test in the NICU so we could take him home. So cute!

Cher Bear

I thought i would do a little post about our cute Cher Bear and all of her funny sayings and cute pictures she has taken lately. I cant believe that she will be 4 in a few months. Where does the time go? I am so lucky to have such an awesome daughter! I have told Chris and others so many times that i really don't know if i could get along with the boys if she wasn't around. She truly helps me and wants to help!! She can keep them occupied, make them laugh and smile, bring them to me, burp them and the list could go on and on. She is my best little side kick i could ask for! Here are a few funny things she has said lately, i know there is more i just cant remember them all(that's why i am writing these ones down)

January 2011

I feel like i have been trapped in my own house and i cant get out!! I am so ready for spring to come so we can go on walks, play outside and breath in some fresh air. We(cher, the brothers and I) were able just last week to go to St. George with Aunt Paige, let me say it was HEAVEN!! 63 degrees, swimming and walks! It was a little crazy at times with 6 kids and just the two of us but with my new motto(just embrace life as it comes) we did just fine. Chris was on a snowmobiling trip with his buddies. We have been doing lots of naps, Cher helping babysitting the boys so i can get things done and crafts around here. The boys are doing great. Finally i am getting about 5-6 hours of sleep. I usually feed them around 10pm, 3:30, and then again at 7am so i am only having to wake up once in the night which is great. Jett and Cole are smiling and talking lots. Jett is now the relax and chill baby, while Cole likes to still fuss a lot and be held by his mama. Jett is the one that wakes up at night, therefore i have to wake up Cole every time to eat(i always wonder how long he would sleep for if i didn't wake him up) They defiantly have their own personalities and its fun to watch them grow. I can tell there cries apart and usually once i get one to stop crying the other one starts(i hope they grow out of this soon) I was able do have a night all to myself at the Provo Marriott this month for my Christmas present. I don't think anyone really thought i was going to go through with it but i did, i did need a little convincing at one point(thanks Paige). I was grateful for Chris for letting me go. He hasn't really gotten up with the boys ever in the night so i know it was a little overwhelming for him but i knew he could do it, 10 bottles and all :) I went out to dinner and a movie with some lovely ladies and checked myself in and was able to sleep until 11am the next morning with a few wake ups to pump . It was great. Chris brought down the kids and we swam with cher for a little bit and had a great time together. I'm so excited to see whats in store for our family this coming year. Im sure it will be a great one.


cher has been a little obsessed with make-up lately. I love how she puts it on. Chris thought one day she was trying to be a clown and she informed him it was her make-up like mommies. i didn't think i put mine on like that :)

Wow! Where to start. This month was CRAZY!!! So the month of December consisted of Chris being gone from Nov 28th-Dec 13th, yes that is 2 weeks by myself with 2 month old twins. He was down helping his dad at the NFR in Vegas. It was crazy, but my lovely sister stayed over a few night to help out and that was great. We had fun making cookies, talking, holding babies and watching shows together. The brothers had their 2 month check up Jett was 23% for head, 21.75 inches long(11.5%) 9lb 4oz(7%). Cole was 7% for head, 20.8 inches long(1%) and 7.96lb(0.77%) So Cole is still pretty tiny and jett is at least on the charts. The are doing well and are healthy. On the 12th of December my mom suffered a double stroke and was in the hospital until 2 days before Christmas. I truly witnessed a miracle as i have watched my mom recover back fully to her normal self. She could have not been able to see, walk or even talk but she can do all of that. She is so lucky! She had to take the drivers test again today(i hoped she passed :)) Going through this has made me so grateful for family, technology, Dr's and the Gospel. Sometimes we don't know why things happen but you defiantly learn from things like this! 3 days after my moms stroke Chris got his tonsils out. He got them out at American Fork Hospital and that was where my mom was at as well so it worked out great while he was in surgery i was able to visit with my mom and pump(oh yeah, did you forget i had twins too, hahah) Chris did well in his surgery and was hilarious when he came out and was still on medicine, i have never seen him so happy. We were on our way to recovery with him and Cher got strep and croup 3 days before Christmas. She had never had strep before but got it for the first time then end of November so this was her second time. Well i was not about to start having to deal with her getting it every month and since we had met our huge deductible(thank you Jett and Cole) i called every ENT to see if they would possibly take out Cher's tonsil before the end of the year. Well guess what i found one and she got them out on the 28th of December, yes i am crazy and yes the boys were getting at least their diapers changed. She also got her tonsil out at AF hospital. They were so great with her!!! The first night i was pretty sure i made a mistake but after that it got better and better. It took Chris about 2 weeks to feel back to normal and Cher was about 1 week. Oh yeah, we did have Christmas eve and Christmas in between all of this and it was great. We had Christmas eve dinner over at our house with my family and we even got a little visit from Santa. Cher was so excited and brave to sit on Santa's lap. Christmas morning was great, Cher got way to much, and the brothers(that what we refer to them as) got way to little(haha they really only want me) Cher wanted a salon from Santa and it looked like she minded her best manners because she got one along with a bazillion other things. We have been doing hair like crazy ladies lately. We were able to talk to my brother Garet that is on a mission. He will be home in 6 months and cant wait to see him. November 2010

I wish i would have been better to write down my feelings as i was and have been going through this crazy time in my life, its been a ride to say the least. November was a month of little sleep, frustration, reality, lots of diaper changes, holding, loving, and being grateful for what i have and for people around me! It was a time now looking back that i am happy has past but am really proud of myself and Chris making it through. We had lots of help with dinners from our ward, family and friends that helped us tremendously. We didn't go really anywhere this month( we barley made it up around the house) We had a great thanksgiving with Chris family and then were able to go and see my family that night. I have so much to be grateful for and am very blessed to have the family i have. I got so lucky :)

Little Rascals Take 1

So Cher LOVES the movie little rascals. I often times hear her repeating numerous parts of the movie and i thought i should get some of them on tape so here is the fist one. This is when Spanky is dressed up in the girls ballet outfit and he is trying to get away from the "mean" boys.
