Slowly getting caught up

So because I am such a slacker, my posts are mostly going to be pictures until I get caught up.
so.................
October it is!!

We went home again :)
and this time, mom and dad brought us back and stayed for a week. so fun! And so much easier traveling with help!
While they were here we went to the zoo, the Boise zoo looks like... well crap! There weren't many animals, lots of their cages were empty and the ground needed lots of clean up,sad!
It was still fun to see what animals they did have, Maclyn and I loved watching the monkeys, they are like little hairy people and so stinkin funny!
The prairie dogs were so funny, I don't think I have ever seen them before.
Maclyn really liked feeding the goats too, and Briggs just laughed at them and tried kissing them. YUCK!

Maclyn has become quite the little helper, he loves helping at the store, cooking, taking care of Briggs.

I made him some fun play dough to keep him busy while inside.

Briggs and Maclyn tried on their Halloween costumes while my parents were here, we had to buy Briggs a new one, I originally got him a very simple yet cute bat costume, it only went up to sz 9months though and at the time he was ..... 7 mo. and it was already snug, so waiting till Halloween I knew it wouldn't fit, so we found a cute little skunk one, good thing Halloween was only a few weeks away because he nearly outgrew that thing!
Halloween here was pretty cool, people actually do TRICK or treating not only TRUNK or treating, Maclyn loved all the decorated houses and even got to trick or treat at the mall.
I made this fun wreath for Halloween.

Pictures are not going to be in order, So I'm sure you can figure them out on your own.

Sept.

After being here only 2 weeks I made a trip home with the boys, yes we were already home sick, But I had several dr.'s appointments for the boys and I and was not going to wait. so it was a great excuse to head back home, Maclyn was so excited and wouldnt even leave Grandma's house, we slept there the whole week, kinda weird since our house is just around the block. oh well we had lots of fun, after a week we decided we should head back home to see dad and see how he was handling school.
My parents werent comfortable with me doing the 11 hour drive back by myself so my mom came back with me.

She was a great help and was only supposed to stay about 3 days but ended up getting to stay for a week. Maclyn had a very hard time when she and her ride ( Robbie,Stevie, and Kaysha) were leaving, he wanted to go so bad and really thought he was going. so when he cried, of course it made me feel bad.
While we were visiting Bville we decided that Mr. Briggs was in dire need of yet another hair cut (#2) at only age 6mo. crazy! But he was getting annoyed by it all, first we had to cut his bangs back in Aug. it was just in his eyes and driving him nuts, I was sad, he looked like a china man, or Steven said one of the stooges lol poor little guy.
then a few weeks later he ended up with two long ... super long pig tails on each side and started looking like an orthodox Jew lol. so we had to take care of it and just buzzed it all one length, I loved it but it made me sad because he looked COMPLETELY different, all of his dark long hair was now short and very light. boooo. so here's a fun picture of before and after.

more sept.

Steven had a birthday.
We went to a fun museum while my mom was here, Maclyn's favorite was the bubble wall, and the cute little grocery store.
Briggs got to try raspberries.... and didn't like them!

We got to go to the park lots, and chased lots of squirrels. They are funny Little creatures.

fire engine choo choo's

Back in Sept. The town we live in was having an open house for their fire dept. new firehouse and the new engines the got.
So we took Maclyn since he is obsessed with them, and just our luck, the railroad was a few steps away and he was more worried about the Choo Choo's.
They had lots of fun activities for the kids and even let them take a ride in the new ladder trucks ladder, I have no idea how tall that thing is but it goes very high and Maclyn didn't want anything to do with it.
The only thing we really did was watch them do their fire demonstrations. it was still fun though, and something to do.

Choo Choo

Maclyn is obsessed with trains, especially thomas the tank engine.
He got some track and a few trains last year for christmas but always wants more track.
Well My cousin had a yard sale and had two HUGE boxes of track, tunnels, and tons of thomas trains and trailers. She sold them to us for a STEAL no joke so cheap, Maclyn plays with them everyday. We only packed a small amount but he still loves these things, I think Steven enjoys them too haha.

tie dye

A few months back I went a little crazy with the tie dye.
It was fun though.
Briggs had a few white onesies that were stained and I would never use them like that so I did this and they looked so cute on him, and just my luck, they only fit him for a couple wears lol. I should have died them a lot sooner.
Of course Maclyn wanted to be in the picture. he's too much fun!

Cool park in Idaho

Our first day here, we were driving around checking things out and saw this at one of the big parks. of course Maclyn was flipping out to see it haha.
The only bad thing is you cant touch it or anything. I'm sure if you could it would be vandalised but man did Maclyn want to get closer.
This was donated years and years ago by union pacific and was put in place by two big army tankers. so cool!
They also have a big Air plane from the air force, and an army tanker and a steamer all with fencing around them, the park is huge, and covered with squirrels, Maclyn was chasing one and it ran up the tree and was just staring down at him till we left, I thought for sure he was going to jump on him haha.
