PTI Challenge, Past Due

But hopefully worth the post date!

I signed up to do the PTI Bloghop, but my blog wasn't chosen this month (random selection process), so I didn't worry about completing them in time for the hop, but I loved my idea so I had to make it come to life! The challenge was to use a contact sheet of samples of the newest PTI BT papers. Basically 1.5 inch square samples downloaded and printed on your choice of materials. Here is what I made using this contact sheet:

S.W.A.K.

Yet another Valentine Treat. I will post a template and I promise to also give a quick tutorial for the envelope folds on my previous 2 posts by many requests. Ü. Can you tell it's Card Class time again??!!??

The original creator of this project is Nicole Heady (a most talented and amazing artist.) I did have to create my own template so I could reproduce them and that is the one I'll post!

Thank You Note Card Gift Set

I'm getting ready for my January Card Class. . . What started out as a few simple thank you cards turned into this:

I can't take credit for the notecard idea as I saw them on another post and thought I could replicate it for my class and give them a few more simple cards along with some Valentine's project this month -- if only I could remember where I saw it so I could give credit where credit is due. . . but instead, I'll say THANK YOU!

On the 8th Day of Christmas

Treat Pails! Stampendous makes these adorable clear pails. They come in 2 sizes, but I prefer these pint size. Jen carries them at J4FUNand they aren't expensive at all!

This wasn't a project I had planned, but my CTMH Secret Sister (you know who you are!) sent me the Queen and Company Felt self-adhesive ribbon (which I've secretly wanted, but haven't splurged on!) The second I saw it and the star pattern I knew I had to make treat pails to hold my homemade carmels and truffles. The truffles I make are the really easy Kraft Recipe ones. The carmels I make are to die for! The recipe will be posted on my blog, but not tonight! I made the topper with scraps left over from other holiday projects and the cute Paper Trey Ink Stamp set called Holiday Treats. So, if you're looking for a cute way to package your holiday goodies this month (or any other small gift too) this is a fast, simple project that you can make too!

Crawling Out from Under the Piles

When I create, I also create piles. . . I move from one thing to the next so quickly that I often find (when I'm unburying) that I have 5 or 6 tape-runners out, the 20th pair of scissors I couldn't find is tucked safely under the 3rd stack of card stock to the left of my paper trimmer and the ribbon pair is under the 5th stack to the right. . . It's a lot of fun, but boy does my room look like a tornado touched down before I'm done! This weekend was for good reason! My 1st of 6 monthly card classes is this Friday and I'm finally prepped and ready! It's easy to 2nd guess myself and wonder if class members will be happy they committed to my craziness for 6 months or not! If it goes well I'm also going to swing a Christmas Card Pajama Party (first of November) and maybe a few other things I've got cooking! So here are the other 5 cards! I posted the 1st creation a couple of weeks ago, but I've been a blogger slacker so you get them all at once!

Have a great day!
