I love this time of year, you can just feel it in the air, well I can anyway. We got our tree up and Kaycee is going nuts over the presents under the tree, wanting to know which ones are hers and spilling to Chad what he is getting, little stinker butt! We took the front runner to Temple Square with my family and had dinner in Salt Lake (you can see that Chad is just thrilled by all the holiday joy! And poor Kodie got cut out of the pic :-( ). The kids loved the train, but next time I think I will just meet them in Salt Lake! I had a little too much motion for my liking and by the time we were done with the runner, the trams, etc I thought I was going to lose it. Anyway here is a pic of Kaycee putting the angel on the tree! It is "her job" now! And one of our little Kodie Bear!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Just a quick note to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hope all is well with everyone! Kodie has broken two teeth on her bottom gums and is really starting to use them! She bit Kaycee's finger today and Kaycee wasn't too pleased with that! It was kinda funny actually. Anyway we had a great day, went to dinner at my parents and had a nice visit with my grandma and family. Then we headed to Chad's aunts house for desert although we were so stuffed I couldn't resist one piece of cheesecake! Well, good night for now!

Viva Las Vegas!
So, I think I am liking this stay at home mom stuff!! This past Sunday Chad and I were just hanging out and thought "hey, we are bored, let's go to Vegas!" And so we did! It was great not having to worry about getting the time off or if I had enough vacation time and since Chad was already scheduled off Monday and Tuesday it worked out great! It was also nice because my aunt Cheryl lives there so we always have a place to stay without the burden of a huge hotel bill! Let me tell you though, Vegas is a completely different experience with two young kids! We are defintely going to plan an adults only trip next time! Kaycee had a blast though, we took her to Circus Circus and she got her face painted. Little Stinker though wouldn't ride any of the rides by herself so we wasted 15.00 on an unlimited ride wristband for her, but it still was great fun! We met up with one of my best friends, Jessica, who lives there & who I went to high school with down there and went to the Shark Reef, which was pretty cool. Anyway, that was our eventful weekend!!

Broken Finger
I am a little behind on posting news since I finally figured this thing out I am slowly updating things. A few weeks ago Kaycee was over at my sisters house jumping on the trampoline. All she told me was she bonked her finger and that was it, well two days later when she was still babying it and it was swollen and bruised, we decided we should take her in for an x-ray. She was not pleased with that decision! The whole way to the doctor, she kept crying and saying she didn't want an x-ray! So sad! Well we go there and sure enough it was a broken (she would freak when you said she broke her finger, it was just a bone in her finger not her actual finger!) nothing they had to reset or anything but she did need a splint to protect it and help it heal. I think she was pretty proud of her war wound and the attention that came with it! She is all good now and you wouldn't know anything was ever wrong!
Trick or Treat!
We had a great Halloween! Kaycee kept asking "are we going to ANOTHER house for candy mommy?" It was so cute, she couldn't get over that all these people were just giving her candy for no apparant reason, and of course Kodie could have cared less either way! She was a cute little skunk I must say and Kaycee made the cutest Rodeo Clown I have ever seen! Chad is off elk hunting Saturday until who knows when. It will be a short one though, he will just go up each day rather than take the trailer and camp the weekend. I have been home with the kids this week since I took a voluntary layoff this winter, hopefully it will pick up enough this next Spring and they will be able to bring me back on again. I am afraid I won't want to go back by then though.

Family Pictures
Here are some recent pictuers we had done. Chad wadn't too pleased, he thinks they should be done every five years or so. He couldn't understand why I wanted to do them just 6 short months after we did the last ones! I had to explain that Kodie changes so much so fast you have to keep tehm updated! Hee Hee!

Time for Pumpkins!
Here ya go Auntie Reenie, here is a brand spankn' new picture! We took the girls to pick out their pumpkins and Kaycee had a GREAT time! She loved that she could pick her very own and found one that she could carry by herself! We are good, just getting ready for all the holidays, they will be here before you know it! I love this time of year!!
