And you thought we disappeared...
I've posted pics from the winter and some from the spring (so far), so hopefully that will catch people up on the Hill House. I didn't have time to add captions or change much, so I apologize in advance for the sheer number of pictures. Know that they were narrowed down as much as I had time to do. :)
As for us, things are going well! Here's a little bit of what we're all up to:
Eric: Our fearless leader has been busy with his second year of GI fellowship. There's an end in sight! He has already had a couple interviews with some GI groups, and he has several more lined up. We should have a decision made by this summer, but we'll see... While I am anxious about moving yet again (Summer 2011), we're looking forward to putting down roots somewhere...and staying for a while.
Me: On top of taking care of the little guys (and one big guy), I've been hard at work preparing for VBS at our church. Back in January, I was asked to co-direct VBS...I think because they knew I wouldn't say no...which was somewhat true. :) It's been a lot of fun, but a lot of work. Which explains the complete lack of posting anything for many months. And will serve as my explanation for not posting anything for the next several months. ;) I'm still involved with my bible study on Thursday mornings, and this along with my time with friends, keeps me going.
Noah: Our oldest turned 4 in February with a dinosaur party and a trip to Dinosaur World. He LOVES school, soccer, swim lessons, and spending time with his friends. He's really into pretend right now, with superheroes (specifically Batman) being a frequent activity around our house. He still loves to laugh and be silly, much to the delight of mom...most of the time. ;) He's still our sensitive little man with a little bit of a dramatic side. He is eager to do almost anything, and he has several sports on his list to play (tennis and baseball being the two most mentioned as of late.) He truly loves our trips to Disney World and Busch Gardens, and anytime these places are mentioned, he says "Oh YAY! I so excited!" He has a love of roller coasters, and he was really proud of holding his hands up in the air on Big Thunder Railroad last month...granted, they came down seconds later, but it still counts to us. Such a daredevil.
Gabe: Our littlest guy turns 2 on Sunday! And he's as curious as ever. One word to describe Gabe? Determined! Whether it's finding the hidden piece of candy in a random drawer or finding the most dangerous thing in a room, Gabe manages to do all that and more. You know how I thought maybe Gabe would be the calm one who sits and colors? Yeah, not so much. He's a runner like his big brother, but thankfully, he listens a little better than brother did at this age. He already understands 'time-out' and he's quick to say "I sowee mommy." He's quick to anger, but quick to calm down, and he's one tough little guy. He can fall several times and still not shed a tear. It's pretty incredible. He's a daredevil like brother, and he likes doing anything big bro does. We recently started him in swim lessons because everytime we took Noah, Gabe would throw a fit because he wanted to go. He loved it! He seems to be looking forward to school in the fall ("Go Wowah's school? Gabe's cass?"), and we have him signed up for a couple summer sessions in July. I'm sure he's ready to be away from me for a little bit each day. :)
So, that's the latest with us! The boys are growing up fast, and we're enjoying the ride...even though I wish it would slow down at times.
Hope you all are well, and PLEASE come visit whenever you get a chance...you only have a year and 2 months left! :) We have an actual guest room now, Disney an hour away, and the beach surrounding us. And we've successfully housed 6 adults and 5 kids for a week...and we all survived. ;) Hope to see you soon!
Much love!

Spring 2010 Pictures
We have had SUCH a fun spring! Eric was on a research month in March, so we had a little freedom. One of the best moments in March was a visit from some of our best friends. Eric had his buddies from childhood (and adulthood!) come for some spring training games and a few rounds of golf. And bonus for me? Some of the wives came too! Added bonus? A few of the kids came, too, so Gabe and Noah had live-in playmates. Noah still asks when Courtney and Wyatt will be back. It was such a blessed time, and we are thankful for the wonderful friends in our lives.
Here are some of the pics I’ve taken over the last few months…and a few more details to go along with them…
March Visit from Friends
So, I tried to include all the albums in this post, but my computer didn't like that idea. So I had to split them up into individual posts and add the link. Sorry!
More soccer! And a little brother who wants to play too. ;) Soccer Shots
Thanks, Uncle Jonathan (Our trip to Arkansas)
Dinosaur World Field Trip (aka Noah’s trip with his true love, Avery)
Birthday Playdate to Celebrate Gabe, Eli, Katherine, and Olivia (April 18th, 16th, and 11th, respectively)!
Gabe’s First Swim Lesson! He loved it!
To finish it off…here are some pics of my handsome, DIRTY, silly boys! :)
