Granny square challenge assembling

A couple of weeks ago
I started assembling my granny square blanket.
I am going in a very slow pace
so I am still working on it
but I am almost ready.
First lay your squares on the floor
to make a combination you like.
Make a stack of each row of squares,
guard with your life
so no one messes them up.

There are many ways to join,
look here for suggestions.
I joined the squares with double crochet (UK)/ single crochet (US).
We did this before in week 7,
look here for video instruction.
First I joined all the squares horizontal
then vertical.
Next step will be the border,
I hope I am able to speed up a little
so we can finish the blanket
and snuggle underneath it.

  2. Michelle your blanket is going to look fantastic when finished. Take your time, there is no rush....at least that's my excuse for having fallen so miserably behind with my squares. It's a project that has had to go on hold as we are moving so everything is being packed up but I promise I will get back to it one day. Philippa xx

  11. Hi Michelle, I love the blanket and the colors! Would like to start, although it's already 2016 and a little late to join :) I cannot see the yarn brand in the picture with the colornumbers, and cannot enlarge it. Can you tell me what yarn it is, please? Thank you! Can't wait to finish mine!
