How do I look?

I turn my back for one second and this happens! Man oh Man!

I love being a mom!

I have the sweetest kids ever made! They've been extra sweet lately that I thought I had better write it down so I won't forget. Back in January I had my gallbladder taken out and when I came home, Austin was so sweet and concerned. He snuggled me and brought me water, juice, anything I wanted. He also said since I was such a good girl he bought me flowers and 5 minutes later the door bell rang and there were some flowers. He quickly said, "they're here mom and they are just for you from me!". They were really from my Grandma Sharon and Dan's family but it was still sweet.

I didn't really think CC was that observant of me but apparently she is. A few days after my surgery I thought it looked like CC was walking funny and then I realized she was copying how I had been walking since my surgery. She was pushing her baby in her stroller with my high heels on and was hunched over with her hand on her side saying owey, owey. She's one talented little girl. Life would be so boring without CC and Austin! I am so glad they're mine!

Mr. Mom

I had to go to Canada for work for 7 days so Dan go to stay home and be Mr. Mom. I think he did a great job, as you can tell from the pics and video above. I don't even think the kids missed me. When I came back home they acted like I had just been gone for the day. They weren't that excited to see me. :'( It took CC a couple of days to let me love on her when she got hurt. She just wanted her dad. It was almost like she was mad at me or something. I hate leaving them. Hopefully I don't have to do that again anytime soon. I did get some ketchup potato chips while I was there though. They are so GOOD!!

Aus's first day of Preschool!!

Where has the time gone? I can't believe I already have a kid in preschool. As you can tell from his pictures he was super excited. His teacher is Mrs. Laura. She is such a good teacher and really loves her students. Aus comes home and does his homework with no problem. I never thought to let him trace letters, shapes, etc.. but he can do it with little help. I love my little smarty pants.

I have to show off his drawing of the airplane. His has a toy airplane with engines under his wings and the airplane up above didn't have the engines on so he had to draw them on. I was so impressed. Preschool is such a good investment!

We're ready for another awesome football season! GO UTES!!

I was a little nervous going to the game with two kids but they did awesome. I only made 3 trips down the bleachers. Aus and CC sat almost the whole time and watched the game. They had lots of entertainment with a couple of Dan's friends from work. We are excited for the next game. Hopefully it won't be COLD!!

I want to be like you.....

CC loves her brother so much. She tries really hard to be just like him. Take a look....

CC loves to sport around in Austin's underwear. She likes it to show...obviously.

Aus is really good at speaking Spanish. CC will be just as good in no time.
