Blayke was up for a bottle during the night, but then slept until 9:30-10:00!

Blaire just adores Blayke!
A cold night for a soccer game, but Blayke stayed cozy warm in her new hat!
10-12
Odelle's 1st day at daycare!
So sweet and I just can't get over all of her hair!!
Blayke is getting a little better about playing on the floor and rolling to her side. Not long and she will be rolling over to her tummy!
Friday, October 14
It's getting harder to feed Miss Blayke! She insists she have her fingers or thumb in her mouth while she's drinking her bottle!
Grandpa Harold & Grandma LaVonne came down to Sioux Falls so we met them at Kaladis for coffee and a treat after I picked the kids up from school! Love seeing them as much as we can! They leave for Texas on Monday morning, so we got in one last goodbye and some hugs & kisses!
Saturday, Oct. 15
Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa took the boys & Holdyn to Iowa for the yearly pumpkin party! Blayke and I had a girls day!
Grandpa's rule has always been that you have to be potty trained before you can go along to the Pumpkin Party. It's quite a drive, and it gets to be a long day of driving & outdoor fun! I talked Gramps into bringing Bronx along even though he still wears diapers because he always feels so left out otherwise! Poor kid has to stay home with mom when his brothers go to school. It was just easier to send him! He had a blast too!
Sunday
Boston and I butt heads a LOT. I'm trying hard not to expect too much out of him, because he is a huge help to me, but also trying to be consistent and teach him responsibility too. We are a few months into the school year and still struggling with a good routine for homework, sports and life around the house with 4 kids! One of the 4th grade assignments is to read 30 books throughout the school year. Boston hates to read. He's hating it more now that he has to read 20 minutes every. single. day. I had had enough, so dad had to step in and have a talk with him. It's crazy how much more they listen and obey when dad gets involved!
Blayke's hair is coming in thick! So much more noticeable after it's wet from a bath!
Monday morning! Londyn & Blayke having a little chat about their weekend!

A beautiful day outside!
Boston had his last football practice! He came home and snarfed down 5 BBQ's! I made him 6 but he said he would probably throw up if he ate the 6th one :)
Wednesday, October 19
I love having my Wednesday & Friday's off!! Lots of down time and snuggle time which is just what we all need!
Friday, October 21
Chels came home for a few days! She did some speaking events around the area for fundraising for the Zuni Christian Mission School! Derek & I went to Rock Valley last evening to listen to her talk. So interesting to hear more about what they are doing in Zuni! Blayke rode along & the boys stayed home with a sitter. Friday evening we hosted all of the Gerdes' for pizza! Glady & Les had pizza ordered for everyone. It was a fun night of visiting!
Saturday night Boston had his last football game! It was a tough loss for the championship, but a fun season! He loved it! The weather was so nice! A good night for Blayke to take in her first football game!!
Proud of #4!!
A late night for this little guy! So tuckered out!
