Wood Badge

 Last year Ryan  went to Wood Badge. It is some super scouter camp thing. They had to do quite a few projects and stuff and go to the camp and then they get their Wood Badge metal or award or badge or whatever it's called. (my boys are still too little for me to really know scouting). Anyways, so last week Ryan and two others from church got their Wood Badge award. It was a fun ceremony and we are quite proud of our little scouter.

 Lester was the one who actually gave Ryan his award. Congrats Ryan!!!

Ryan and Taegen's Triathalon.

 Ryan did the swim leg this year again for the "It's All Muscle 2" team. He did great. He swam the mile in about 46 minutes.  He even did a flip off the dock for our enjoyment.  If you are wondering why there are no pictures of Ryan swimming it is because right before he started little Cozette got stung by a wasp.  She was screaming the whole time he was swimming.  Poor thing.

 They also had a kid triathlon this year after the big one.  The kids swam 50 yards, biked 1.5 miles and ran .5 miles. Taegen wanted to do it and he did GREAT!!! Seriously, he loved it.

The Annual Bug Race!!!

 It was the Annual Bug Race for the Summer reading program. Let's just say it was GREAT. It went way better than last year. (reminder: last year Kyler squished his bug, Taegen broke all the legs off his spider on accident by dragging his cup across the floor, Strider actually picked a bug that moved this year ie: not an earthworm)

 Taegen's bug won the ENTIRE thing. He was so excited. Kyler got bored after the first race.  Strider used Kyler's bug to move onto the finale because his centipede didn't make it.  In the end...T-dog won. It was quite fun.

Cousin Time

 Taegen, Kyler, Strider and Cozette love it when their cousins come to play at the Lake.  Pason, Carter, Eli, and Luke all came to play for a few days and we LOVED it.

 Ryan and Jared went kneeboarding together. It was fun to watch them. They switched ropes. Switched places. Did 360's together. Sprayed each other. You know....fun brotherly love type of things. It was fun to watch them.

 Me and Tami were on one tube. Pason, Taegen and Carter were on the other tube. After a few mishaps...(too short of rope, broken rope, etc.) we had a good time.

We are standing in our tube. There was so much water in the bottom that we were literally standing up in our tube in water. No wonder it was hard to get pulled.

We have been able to see our cousins and family a little more this summer and it has been so great. We love seeing them all and hope they come back and visit again soon.
