i STILL have not finished blogging abt foc but hey, its a LONG 5 days man.
heres the updates.

apparently dad threatened Jo with a stick the other day. -_-
it keeps getting worse.

next, MODULES r driving me crazy this sem -______-
really.
but i'm gonna be SUPAAA busy, cuz im taking 6 mods.
trying to clear as many as possible in case i dun get hall nxt sem.
but out of the 6, 1 is non examinable, 1 i'm planning to S/U, so i hope it wont be too bad. eeks!

FOC PRE-CAMP - 2/8/09

met the Andor GLs at Marina Bay cuz the pre-camp was supposed to be held at Marina Barrage.
Alan L. took one look at me and said i looked, and was behaving like a freshie. too excited alr.
i think some of the freshies prolly had the impression tt i was a freshie too.
haha. mayb next yr i'll try playing fake freshie.
saw JieWei (as expected cuz i saw his name on the list of Andor freshies) haha. he hasn't changed much since NSS except for mayb more muscles from NS.
um...didn't see iswan and the rest but anw was more interested in the new kids in the clan.
there was Natalie, Jay, Claire, Yuan Han, Justin, Zhuo Hou, Rachel, Mel, Andy, Teck Wee and i can't rmb who else...
played some games, did some cheers, then went home. haha.

FOC Day 1 - 3/8/09

Was almost late in meeting the rest at Pasir ris.
headed down to Pasir Ris park for icebreakers and field games.
the games this year were even more tame than last year.
but then there wasnt much choice since we were using a public place.
there were some new additions to the clan since not everyone could make it for the pre-camp.
there was Milan, Leonard (who was also from IJ but i did not recognise him at all), Terrence, Sheena, Yong Yan (reminded me of Rtcc), Yong Shin and Hui Kiang.
ended up partnering Justin for the telematch. he's really tall, but super skinny. so i felt pretty bad and LOL i fell off AGAIN. in freshman year, B dropped me too. i think i really HAVE TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT.

halfway through the Maxar seniors had to leave though. cuz we had to prepare for tuesday morning's prize presentation and closing ceremony.
and so the girls ended up sitting on the back of the lorry the entire ride back to ntu while the guys got to sit in the front. LOL.
nevermind tt it was bumpy...
but my god! we were stuck in a jam with the rubbish truck beside us. we were totally swooning from the strench.

at ntu.
we set up the chairs and projector and podium and everything at nanyang house and went for dinner. the sore throat was starting alr but we ate nasi lemak anws.
ended up sneaking into hall and bathing in the boy's toilet at blk 44.
DAMN the toilet was fantastic! so new and so clean.
then we headed back to Nanyang House. Started to feel sick so i took my temperature but i was WHEW! fine. =)
still. Brian, CCC, Jake, nina and i had to squeeze on Brian's laid out hammock on the floor cuz we had nowhere to sleep. it was so damn cold cuz we couldnt adjust the air con so we all wore three t-shirts and jammed our jeans on top of out fbt shorts and TRIED to sleep. LOL.

FOC Day 2 - 4/8/09

Maxar's & T8'c closing ceremony.
the final amount we presented was $17,000!
yea! it wasn't as good as last year's but it wasnt shabby either. =D
as expected the freshies were all almost falling asleep during the speeches but loved the Vid Nina spent the whole night working on.

aft our presentations were the OMC's intro.
rahhhh. the juniors looked damn cute in their GL pics. haha.
cant believe one year passed alr.

then... the POOL games!
was pretty fun to watch!
and i got to play around in the water! yay!
and vicky with the y joined us.
the guys were pretty good at swimming. then again, it could've just been dragon guys being competitive.

at night was fright night.
girls had their own COT and it was pretty funny to play "shoot-shag-marry" with them.
the ghost story telling was -_-
seniors ended up talking by ourselves.
leonard came back from his jap test in the middle of fright night and went for the pageant interview. lol.
played the wacking game with the freshies that came back.
jenny was hit so hard she cried. her thigh was swollen and all.

there was a bit of an emo session cuz the freshies didnt seem to be bonding at all.
they didnt cheer either and it was like, when are u gna cheer if not now?
but everyone was fine in the end la. just broke my heart to see jenny cry thinking she wasnt doing enough when she was alr losing her voice.

FOC Day 3 - 5/8/09

....was supposed to go for dragonboating then go home and dump laundry.
but seniors ended up sleeping till they finished dragonboating LOL.
so i headed home, ate, got my stuff and joined them.
they started the first day of round island. apparently whilst i was away they had to climb to the top of both bukit timah hill and mt faber!
and although A Clan was leading, we made a tiny mistake and had to climb up one of those hills TWICE.
i would have died man. have no idea how the freshies did it.
last stop was pitstop cafe. we lost first place by like, the distance of a person.
sighs. its what we now call the "cheechong luck"
LOL.

when we got back to the chalet.
Buttie and CCC got pissed of at Alpha 1.
and they were also irritated with Alpha 2.
basically the guys werent cheering whilst the girls were trying they're best. and there was no sense of bonding at all.
Yus also alr came clean with them by revealing his fake freshie status.
the guys kinda mistrusted him but aft a while it was ok.
but it was this night that the guys totally forgot abt us seniors bunking in with them. we came back from supper and they totally occupied the whole chalet, upstairs and down, and we were so damn sad, mad, and were like going "wth wth" the whole night. we were like thinking, we alr told them ytd night we had to share so why did they still not squeeze?
anws, the GLs felt damn bad. wanted to wake them up but we were like, ah, forget it la.
nina and i were supposed to squeeze in with the GLs but in the end only i bunked in. and worse, when i opened the door, it woke hazzley and he freaked out and started screaming at the top of his lungs! he woke rahi who jumped on yussuf who almost punched rahi in the face. and at the same time hazz grabbed my leg and kicked me and continued screaming like a girl getting murdered. then the rest of the female GLs started screaming and i thought i was gonna go mad i started laughing and crying MY GOD. srsly.

FOC Day 4 - 6/8/09

it must've crossed the guys' minds (finally) that it was weird that jake, buttie, ccc, nina, kennard were crashed on the ledges outside the chalets.
and i think the GLs said sth to them. so they came and stood infront of the GUYS and apologized to them. me and nina IMMEDIATELY screamed "OI!!! we not seniors also ah?!!"
and we all started to related the haz incident.
but it was gr8 to know they didnt do it on purpose.

So our first stop was the National Library. (for the Round Island
We got there 2nd, i think. K Clan got there first... and the challenge was.... none other than to memorise something from a book in the library! talk about physically challenging, this was mental. haha.
but the anal librarians banned us from going in and out of the library so we ended up borrowing the books instead. LOL.
Next stop was.... Fort Canning! (as usual) but we took the long route by accident! but somehow, we managed to beat the rest there! we were the first! =)
next stop was.......HSBC Treetop trail....
but we stopped for lunch so we ended up inbetween K clan and X clan...
and thanks to the conservation site lady, we were held up.... sighs, A clan's annual "luck" is replaying LOL
the trail was.... lets put it this way. after that, you would have some phobia of walking down stairs. really. no joke mannn.
and the mosquitoes are like, starved for blood.
so somehow we ended up at macritchie and from there we headed to pasir ris park for the camp fire. and..... we lost to K Clan in reaching pasir ris first by a few seconds... they managed to squeeze into the train we barely missed.

since it was leonard's birthday on fri, GLs and seniors decided to get him a cake - i mean, poor guy spends his 21st @ camp?!
