HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY LANE!
We celebrated by taking her and her cousin, Hudson, to the zoo.

We rode the train around the zoo. With popcorn, graham crackers and juice...who could beat that!
Santa even stopped by to say, "Hi."

A Tangled Party

Lane turns 4 on Dec. 17! Can you believe that! I can't. Anyway we had her b-day party last weekend. It was Tangled themed. We had lots of fun, but really, really missed our Fort Worth friends (especially Blake & Kate!). Cousins Hudson and Emilee were there for the first time...and Lane & Hudson had lots of fun. We made bird feeders our of pinecones and peanut butter (random, I know, but lots of fun).

Trick or Treat

Lane went as Rapunzel from Tangled. I made her the yarn braid and wouldn't you know, she would not wear it. Threw a fit! So literally the above picture is the 5 minutes she had it on while I was holding her free hand. Stinker!

We went trick or treating with cousins, Hudson (pictured above as a teenage ninja turtle) and Emilee. Lane and Hudson had a great time knocking on doors together.

PS. We miss our Barkers! Trick or treating was NOT the same this year.

6 Months Old
Quinn is 6 months old! Can you believe it? She weighs 16 lbs, 12oz. and is 26.5 inches long. She is in the 80-95 % for weight and height and her head circumference is in the 20%ile. Go figure. Brandon joked that the average of Lane and Quinn's heads would make a normal size head.

Look at those cute tennis shoes, love them. Quinn is such a happy baby. She smiles and laughs all the time, even more than her sister did at this age which I thought was impossible. She loves her sissy too. She smiles whenever she sees her sister. She loves to bounce, stand, and is slowly working on sitting up on her own. Her favorite thing in the world is her busy bee on her bouncer which she has now gummed the eyes off of.

She has started eating baby food. She likes all fruits and sweet potatoes (FYI:does not like green beans). Check out the table toy I got her for FREE with my Huggies reward points! She likes spinning the beads around with her finger. Look at that sassy expression!

All in all we love our Quinnie-pooh!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with Gepaw. It was a rainy day but we found 20 minutes of dry weather to take some pictures and buy 2 tiny pumpkins.

Lane LOVES her baby sister. She loves on her too much some times...but I love that about her. And Quinn loves her big sister. She smiles as soon as she sees Lane.

So I have been couponing since May and I have gotten some really great deals. But today's haul was impressive. So at CVS I got 2-3pack trident vitality gum, 2-healthy choice fresh meals, 2- snack size m&ms, 1- CVS brand bandaids, 1-hershey caramello bar, 2- revlon eye shadows, 2- CVS brand AA batteries...all for $4.59!!!

And at Walgreens, I got 1-huggies jumbo pack, 4-pringles cans, 3- dove body wash, 1- dove men's body wash, 1- revlon fingernail polish, 1-herbal essence hairspray, and 1- biore strips...I spent 23.00 got $11 in register rewards to use on my next purchase. This may not seem like savings but here is the break down after the register rewards and coupons:

Pringles - $1.25 each

Revlon fingernail polish - made 0.01 on this item

Huggies - 4.49

Biore strips - 3.99

Dove body wash - 1.50 each

Herbal Essence hairspray - $1

Weekend Update

Aunt Meagan teaching Quinn about couponing...never too soon to save, right?

Meagan did me a HUGE favor this weekend and worked on some burp cloths for me and a friend of mine with her embroidery machine...I should have taken a picture of the finished projects but I didn't. so take my word for it they turned out GREAT! Especially the ladybug.

They took naps together on and off throughout the day...so cute (see above).
