Our Week in San Antonio

Lane getting her giggle on...during a photo shoot with cousin Hudson.

Singing Itsy Bitsy Spider.

We went to Sea World with Memaw, Gepaw, Hudson, and Aunt Ashley. The highlight was the Sesame Street Christmas show. The kids got to take pictures with some of the characters from the show

Hudson and Lane in the Candy Cane forest at Sea World.

Watching Shamu.

This was a photo from a while ago. Meme gave Lane this doll bed for her birthday. She evidently decided that her babies looked lonely and hopped right in with them.

It's A...

Can you tell? The sonographer had a hard time but she thinks it's a...

GIRL!

TRAINS! [insert arm waving here]

Evidently Lane loves trains. Who knew? She recently saw one in a Christmas village and went gaga over it. The Christmas train I had didn't work, so we went and got her an early Christmas present...Thomas the Train set. Here she is enjoying it...

Fresh Beat Band Bash
Lane had her 3rd birthday party...the Fresh Beat Way! last Saturday. It was a lot of fun.

We had cupcakes and icecream...yum!

Here are Lane, Claire, & Whitney showing off one of the items in the goodie bags.

Trick-or-Treat
Lane was Supergirl this year and her costume totally rocked and she was adorable in it. But for some reason she cried when I put her in it. However, once we got to Blake's house everything was right with the world.

Below: Lane, Blake, and Kate ( as the cute pumpkin)

The girls had a great time trick-or-treating. Lane really got it this year. She went to every door saying "Tick or Treat" and even said "gracias" a few times after getting candy. Her reward at the end of the night for enduring the Supergirl costume was a handful of Skittles, one of her favorite candies. Not one of my favorite for her to eat because it is not only a rainbow of flavor but usually a rainbow of color on her hands and face. But I guess that makes them taste even better, right?

Pumpkin Patch
Lane did not want to ride the barrel train at first...but it was free so we made her enjoy it.

Lane has an announcement...

The shirt says it all. We are expecting little brother or sister for Lane. I am due April 26th, which means most likely baby will be here by mid-April. Please pray for this baby as it grows and develops.

Catching up
I've been busy with school stuff recently and am just now getting around to posting these pictures. Below: Lane and her great-grannie at a recent visit in Sept.

Below: The beginning of out trip to Sea World with our very good friends, the Barkers. Lane and Blake in the car with their cool shades.

Before the Shamu show the girls and dads rode the only rollercoaster they were tall enough to ride. I still can't believe that they were tall enough.

On the rollercoaster

At the Shamu show. These girls loved it!

We got to see Shamu and her baby. Can you see it through the glass?

And the star of the show: Shamu

Lane's Lake Adventure

We went to the lake over Labor Day weekend. It was Lane's first time camping. I think she really enjoyed it. She loved swinging in the hammock and collecting sticks.

Aunt Meagan and Lane (Above)
Meagan bought Lane a boat load of sand/dirt toys to play with.

Lane enjoying an Oreo cakester...can you tell she really thought they were yummy!
