I don't remember potty training Aliyah, but this girl got it down pretty fast!  So proud of her.  She got to go pick out her big girl panties today and she was totally excited about that!

GUM!!!  In hair!!!  Never good.  :(

I asked him why he did it.  He said because he wanted to see what would happen if he stuck it in his hair.  Boo.

Cotton Days & Culinary Food Festival

It's the Annual Cotton Days parade here in Washington.  Xander's preschool gets to participate in the parade, so he got to ride on the school's float.  He was pretty excited about it.

And the girls were excited about getting candy.  :)

After the parade we decided to go check out the Culinary Arts Festival that was happening in St. George.  A bunch of local food places came together and had some samples of their food you could try.  There were bounce houses and tight ropes and swing sets from Lifetime. And we happened upon a face painter just there to make kids happy.  But we waited in line over an hour and half for the kids to get their faces painted.  Not worth it.  However, the kids did enjoy it. 

The tight rope is a LOT harder than it looks.  The second you tried to move your foot the rope would move all over the place.

Such a long, fun day.  Look forward to next year.  :)

Almost 15 months

Today is the day we finally get serious about potty training.  Jace made me.  As awful as it is, sometimes it's just more convenient to change a diaper than worry about kids peeing their pants.  But this girl is totally ready...so here we go!  We've got our salty chips, drink, big girl panties, Snow White movie, and our potty.  :)
