Family Photos.
Before we left the Ranch we tried to take a few family photos.
NONE of them turned out great.
We are NOT morining people :)
The boys wanted their own shot.
Oh well. . . at least this one of all CA Edgren grand kids is cute. (taken later that night:)

Thanksgiving!
We started the day off at the Taylors. (Grandpa Hank, Ben and Wes)
There was singing,
a kids table,
and, of course, TURKEY!
I love this photo, because we always say "Sammie Lou loves Wes - to DEATH" I actually captured it on film! Can you see it in her eyes?
Then we ended the night with a quick trip to the Edgrens, where the kids were surprised by Nana with some Christmas jammies.
The next day we headed up to the ranch with the whole family. All my sisters were in town, it was great! We rode motorcycles (and the mule).
Lou-lou, liked to play chicken with it. She was almost hit a few times.
We've never been in the winter, so it got dark early. We had to find new ways to entertain ourselves. We decided on a fire and then
an intense game of sardines!! Sammie was so good at being quite and still while she was hiding she fell asleep :)
The next day we shot a few guns,
and had some serious leaf fights.
Even Wes got involved.
We couldn't get enough of it up there. Good thing we'll be going back up next weekend:)

Socccer Season 2009
"The Bakugans!" Drew's team.
It was Drew's first year and he proved to be quite an amazing player. His first game he scored 4 goals!
Since he has been observing big brother Cole's games for a few years now, he was sure he knew it all. He wasn't afraid to tell anyone when he thought they were out of line. This happened at least once a game:)
One of my favorite moments was when he threw the ball into himself, dribbled it down the field, took the corner kick (again pretty much to himself) and then scored a goal. Pretty funny, I'm sure next year those kind of moves won't be allowed. The league is pretty liberal the kids first year.
"The Raptors" Cole's team.
Cole was lucky enough to have the best coach EVER! Well at least we thought so - it was Brad.
Cole had another great year. He loved playing defender, but proved to be a great forward and mid-field as well.
The Season flew by and the kids are already talking about next year!

Stake Conference Sunday!
It's always bitter sweet to have a Stake Conference Sunday. The long drive, kids who won't stay in their seats for the 2 hour meeting, nursing in the bathroom, and hanging out in the hall with the loud grumpy kids.
Of course Lou-lou was not about to leave with out her Sunday lipstick!
But I have to say the sweet out weighs it all.
Getting to go to church on Temple grounds.
Seeing friends we don't normally get to see on Sunday.
All the photo oppertunities :) That's Britt, getting the best angle! It was totally worth the shot.
Wes getting to show off his superman talent!
Then the fun afternoon up at Nana and Papas.
We even stopped by to see some neighboring horses.
It was all fun and giggles until. . . Sammie Lou got bit!
Thankfully Nana stopped the tears with some pretty nail polish on the hurt fingers. All in all, it was a great Sunday. We'll do it again in 6 months.
