we know who's the fairest of them all.
Lou-lou is so excited about her new vanity, she can't stop smiling at us!

Drew
Last weekend Brad took the kids skiing again. He was so impressed with how well they all did. Brad took the 2 boys to the top of a hill Drew hadn't done before. Cole started down it right away. Drew is standing at the top and say "Remember Dad!" Brad thought for a moment, hmm. . .nothing came to him. "Remember what buddy?" Drew replied "I'm just 5!" (moment of silence while Brad contemplated what being 5 had to do with skiing.) "This hill is way to hard!" Brad busted out laughing and then gave him a little pep talk and some encouragement and down they went. It was an advanced blue square, which, in my book, is pretty hard. Drew did very well for a small portion until he and his daddy veered over to the "green circle" trail.
I wish I would of been there to witness it all. Next year for sure.

Love Bugs
So I picked up my little's from preschool today. They had sugar stained faces, frosting in their hair and "love bug" antennae on their heads. Two scroungy, sugar high kids only a mother could love. I thought I'd share them with you. To say the least these are NOT the best photos of them, neither of them were in the mood to stay still and smile. They'd rather be running around, bouncing off the walls until they hit their sugar crash. Which definitely happened later that afternoon! Don't you all love holiday parties :))
Happy Valentines Day, I love you all. I wish I was organized enough to send you real valentines in the mail, or stopping by - but I'm not, so you'll have to take it in mass form. Thank you for all being such GREAT friends and family.

The Ranch - again!
We are under the impression that last weekend could be our last ranch visit, EVER. So even though we were just there we HAD to go again. I don't think I could ever get tired of this place, it just gets better and we find more things to do every time. Here's hoping we're not really done with it!
The first day was all Edgren visitors.
I'm not sure who had more fun the parents or the kids?
The little girls even went swimming!
We had a little bit of communication problem (shocking - I know). I thought Brad had Drew and he thought I had him. It had been almost an hour when we finally realized that neither of us had him. Someone said they had seen him at the house last, but we were ALL down at the lake. I had just started to panic and send someone up to the house to look for him, when down the hill we heard him come. Honking and waving as happy as he could be. He especially loved that we were all cracking up.
We asked him if he he missed us or if he was scared at the house all by himself. "No, I was just playing there." He has always been my most independent kid.
Later he wanted to drive himself back to the house. Until he realized that the battery Jeep couldn't quite make it up the hill.
"Ok, fine, I'll get on the mule with everyone else."
On Saturday, all sorts of friends came up for even more fun! The Mule is always a highlight for the kids.
The weather was great, perfect for hiking.
Although some thought 68 degrees in January was a little too hot. According to Hannah "This weather is Horrible!" Oh, Hannah, thanks for the laugh and the never ending weather comments from there on out :)
The scenery was breathtaking!
"Smile!" "Everybody look here"
When they didn't cooperate well enough, Brad had to get creative. "I will throw this cow patty at you if you don't smile and look at the camera!" Some were unsure about that idea, some thought is was funny and some were disgusted!
He actually threw it!! Can you see it. Notice Neve is entirely out of the photo! She jumped out of the way completely. Smart girl.
Cole and Maren.
My boys. I LOVE them!
Who wouldn't want a hug from this?
She'll even clean off her fingers first.
Come on Annie - you know you want one!
I think we officially filled the house to capacity. This was the first time we used every room. We never got a full group shot, but here are all the kids that were there on Sat. morning.
Here are a few other small groupings.
The "Big Boys"
The "little boys"
The "Mommies"
"Double Trouble"
Gordy.
Or "Gordo" as Lou-lou calls him.
We will miss this place!
The inside at night.
Here's Brad's favorite part of it all.
Can you say garage envy!

Happy Birthday Lou-lou
Somebody turned 3!
She was so excited to get to have her birthday at the Ranch with SO many friends.
And of course she had to have "Pink - delicious" cake (themed from her favorite book, Pinkalicious), with a few Tinkerbells and fairies thrown in.
She actually opened her presents the night before with just our family.
Can you find the kids in this enormous house?
She was VERY happy with her loot.
All fairy related. Are you surprised?
Happy Birthday baby! We love you, we are so glad you came to our family. You definitely spice up our lives. We wouldn't be the same with out you.
