Kids have been doing well in school.
Briggs loves Jr. High and seems to be growing faster than we can spend the $ on jeans and shoes. He's getting those long lanky limbs just like his Dad. He's one of the youngest players on his soccer team and is keeping up with all the older/taller kids quite well. He's improved so much this year and we're so very proud of him. He's loving his new bow and is saving up for a target so that he can get more practice time in.
Reagan is, as always, the good girl, good student, and Excellent Babysitter. She loves taking care of Will and does an excellent job. She is still pursuing her acting career. During the October break she attended a week long "Glee Camp" and had a lot of fun with Musical Theatre. She also had her FIRST audition at the Hale Center Theatre for a part in The Christmas Carol. She looked beautiful and did Awesome. Although she didn't get a Call Back it was a good experience for her and she is eager and excited to try again.
Eryn Jane just LOVES being Eryn Jane! And we LOVE how she's just always so Happy! She loves school, she loves her friends, she loves her Family, she LOVES playing soccer, especially Goalie and loves her coach and her teammates. She NEVER complains about practice and tells us all how she wishes it was longer. She says she wants to play soccer "Her Whole Life!" What a girl, so much like her Daddy! She's excited for her 7th Bday coming up next week, she's been planning that party for the last 2 months! She loves to help me in the kitchen, she wants to be a Baker when she grows up!
William is our STINKER! Others may only see him Scream & Yell, Hit, Throw Fits, Run Away, Make Messes, Taunt & Tease younger kids and ride on their backs like they're horsies and say "Giddyap!" But we get to see ALL the wonderfully cute and fun and funny things he does. He's quick to say Sorry (like his Momma) He's quick to give kisses and hugs. He loves to play and wrestle with his Big Brother and Sisters, He LOVES his family. He says and does soo many cute things that Crack us up. He's really good at memorizing movies, books and lyrics to songs and loves to sing and read. And although, I can't take him ANYWHERE and he'll need some special attention once this baby comes, I know he'll be a good Big Brother.
And then there's Griff, whom we can't wait to get to know and tell you all about!
After ALL that, here's just a couple things that have happened in the last 2 months
Jens and I celebrated our Birthdays. We went to Kona (like 4X) to have our favorite Macadamia Nut Chicken and the kids bought us an ice cream cake from Cold Stone, YUM!
Jens (36) & Kristin (33) ....
Then we took an unexpected trip up to Utah. Jens and Briggs were supposed to go on a Scout trip to Havasupi Falls during Oct Break, but they called it off the night before they were supposed to leave, so we packed up and left the very next morning. The kids were so excited and we had so much fun. We hit a lot of Bad Weather traveling up, but we made it safe. We stopped in Provo to see Jonathan, Lindsey and their new baby girl Lorena and also got to see Alyssa and her hubby Jacob (who are expecting and little girl) It was fun to see them, but it made me feel old. I can't believe I'm a Great Aunt!
Here's a picture of me when I was nine holding my nephew Jonathan....
And here's my nephew, All Grown Up, with a cute family of his own.... Crazy Huh!!
Lorena is soo stinkin cute, look how chunky she is! I LOVE IT!!!
Then we headed up to Ogden to spend 3 fun filled days with my Best Friend Amy and her Amazing family! They spoiled us and treated us sooo well, we didn't want to leave! We have so much fun with Amy & Joe and we were glad we were able to get the kids together after such a long time. They had a good time together!
The weather was beautiful! We took the kids down to Salt Lake and spent the day walking around the temple grounds and ate lunch at Jens's favorite German restaraunt. He loves to go to when he's there on business trips. It was delish!!! We all had a lot of fun and the kids loved to see the temple and the conference center.
Yes, my belly alone is double the size of her!
On Saturday we took the kids to Lagoon! It was lots of fun! Of course, it's the 4th time I've been to an amusement park and have NOT been able to ride the rides because of being pregnant! When you are a roller coaster LOVER, like me, that really Sucks!!! But, I still had Fun!
Sydney, Mitchell, Allie, Briggs, Eryn, Reagan & William
A BIG Thanks to Amy & Joe for letting us crash last minute! You guys are awesome and we love you!
