Welcome to SRM's Bunny Hop with Bo Bunny

Happy 4th

I'm so happy you are here and I bet you just came from the oh so talented Amy's BLOG . Just in case you missed the details for the hop it's pretty straight forward. What's  required is to hop to each blog and return to SRM Stickers BLOG and leave a  comment that you have completed the Hop. A random commenter will be chosen from each day's hop participants to receive a SRM Stickers Prize Package!

I really LOVED working with my Bo Bunny papers, gems, buttons, ribbon and chipboard! Look at this yummy chipboard flower

IMG_0316

Did you know you can color  chipboard? I added some color with Copic markers and many white dots with a gel pen. I also traced the outlines with a black pen so the colors would pop more.

IMG_0317

I loved this paper so I decided to cut out the brown scallop shape and add pop dots to frame the flower and give the card lots of dimension. Did you know these big yummy gems are from Bo Bunny too.

Here is the sketch challenge for the hop and my interpretation .

Celebrate

All the sentiments on these cards are from same sheet of SRM stickers and they can be purchased  HERE . Notice this chipboard.....it looks just like a firecracker to me so I thought it was perfect to combine with the July 4th stickers. All the words in the background are from the same sticker sheet.

Just to explain

Hello Again, I have to pop in real quick to explain how I created these hot air balloons. I used the hot air balloon stamp from The Greeting Farm. Here  is there store but, I couldn't find the stamp and I hope it's still available. I made a card with it last summer and it's one of my favorites stamps. Since my scanner isn't working I used a projector to enlarge it in three different sizes.

I chose my colors according to the refills that I had available for my Copic markers. When coloring large areas it's a good idea to think ahead so you don't run out of ink. I have had this happen too many times. I added the faux stitching with a black gel pen and used back embroidery floss for the strings. I used to love to eat "Chicken in a Basket" crackers they are so yummy and I think of that when I look at the chicken....except mine have white dots. I was so scared to go up in this balloon and it was incredibly quiet being so high in the sky...yes I am very afraid of heights and having the fire above your head didn't help!! Did you know before you take one of these rides you lay down in the basket on top of everyone then the balloon pops up once it fills with the hot air from the torch. It was a great experiece but, to dangerous for me to do again. Have a great week. Hugs,Kathy
If you want to vote the links are below. Thanks sooooo mucho if you have :)

The Greeting Farm Battle Week #3

If you haven't heard by now The Greeting Farm is hosting The American Idol of card making....that's my way to describe it. You have a team, a challenge and then everyone votes to bring you through to the next battle. Leaving a comment counts as your vote . The lovely Fika and Deirdre are my team members and we named ourselves "The Dream Team" . Dee make an awesome card for the first challenge and it took us to week two with amazing retro card.

Then Fika had the next challenge which was to make a easel card and this stunner took us to Battle #3

and now this is my entry for Battle Number THREE.....So if you are interested in seeing the other entries click  HERE for Battle Number THREE.

The  link to vote for this in the gallery HERE but, beware you have to register and if you comment that's your vote. The competition is stiff so we would love for you go and vote for your favorite top 3. Hopefully you will like ours best. Have a great week and as they say "let the battle begin"

SRM's First Blog Hop and some PRIZES!!

Hello Friends,
Welcome to  SRM stickers Spring Break Blog Hop !! You still have time to complete the hop and have a chance to win some SRM sticker packages!!  To start, please visit   SRM Stickers BLOG for today’s blog order. I was excited to create a project using SRM Mother's Day stickers. I love using these stickers because I find  that I have a starting point and I save time as well. For these two cards I used these stickers  HERE.

and the inside

When I read the sentiment  from my sticker sheet that said,"The mother is the heart of the home" I knew exactly what I wanted to make.

Here is the sentiment that I drew my inspiration from. I put it on the inside in here...

If you want more details on how to make the house card you can find it in this post
HERE.

Your next stop  Carole's blog. I love her her blog and her creations. Don’t forget to return to SRM to leave a comment. Random winners will be chosen from each day’s comments.
Have fun and thanks for stopping by. Happy Weekend! Hugs, Kathy
