My girls finally went to school today! I'm not sure how we got to September - there just seemed to be months of never ending, incredibly hard home school and then, wham! All of a sudden it's September. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel slightly more sane and get to do some crafting :-)

New penguins :-)
Another one from the new LOTV release :-) I love these penguins!
I'm now down to my last scraps of Christmas papers. Any suggestions of lovely Christmas backing papers would be gratefully received!!

New release from Lili of the Valley
How cute are these penguins?? They will be in the Lili of the Valley Etsy shop from tomorrow.
I teamed the image up with the Mythical Glade Layering Die from Tonic.
I have done practically no crafting during lockdown because I was homeschooling my 2 girls. It's definitely been a challenge. I felt like a total novice when I sat down to craft yesterday and I think it's going to be a long while before I get back in to the crafty groove. I definitely need to do a Kit and Clowder class - I just hope it's safe for the girls to return to school in September and I get time to craft!

Still colouring!
This one is one of my favourites- but each time I colour one my favourite changes!
I can't buy them all (the puppy fund finally has some money in it so I'm not spending anything) so I'm glad the manager of the local craft shop has lent me the stamps to make samples for the her :-)

Colouring marathon!
This fairy is one of my favourites, although to be fair, there isn't a rubbish stamp among them.
It was all going really well until a great big blob of ink fell from a juicy pen! I did my best to save it but it's all I see when I look at this one.
It's been a bit of a crazy week - drama everywhere. If this week is the same I may hide in a cupboard. Shhh, tell no one!

New papers
I really love this pretty blue colour - it's a beautiful pad. I used some Sue Wilson flower and foliage dies and a LOTV sentiment.

Last minute . . . .
It's another LOTV digi (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/646772936/lili-of-the-valley-digi-stamp-as-belle?ref=shop_home_active_121)
Back to school tomorrow :-( It's going to be really quiet around here. That may not be a bad thing ;-)

Simply Sweet
On a happier note, I made another thank you card :-) This time I used the Simply Sweet elephant stamp set. It's now available as a digi https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/664200047/simply-sweet-stamp-set-elephants-jpeg?ref=shop_home_active_6
I really love these elephants - I've had the set ages but have only just got around to using them. I'm having a massive clearout because I'm determined to start using the stuff I have but can't see the wood for the trees at the minute!

Rabbity thanks :-)
I used a lovely little LOTV digi (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/706452921/lotv-digi-stamp-gc-little-friends-rabbit?ref=shop_home_active_9&crt=1) and also used the little heart bunting also from LOTV.
I'm determined to get back to cardmaking this year. I have plenty stash to keep me going ;-)

Sassy, classy and . . .
I love this stamp from Polkadoodles and I've used it a tonne of times.
I have to confess that turning this into a shaker card was slightly more tricky than I had anticipated. I'd got to the removing the backing from the foam tape stage when my daughter, who NEVER want s to talk to me, suddenly decided to come for a chat. Distracted with our chat I pulled the backing off a piece of tape, the card moved and a thousand flipping sequins went miles!! Yikes. It took me for ever to remove sequins from the tape and get it stuck down. Life lesson learned.
The second life lesson I have learned this year is not to play hangman with a 6 year old who can't spell. Loving this year already!

Vintage Favourites
I used my most precious papers on these - you know the ones that are so lush that you just stroke them because they are way too nice to use!!
