Sunday Soiree . . .

I'm trying to put less embellies on my cards so that they'll fit into thinner (cheaper!) boxes! Restraint is harder than you think :)

I used the following:
LOTV Aimi with Lantern
Raspberry Road Designs - Sunday Soiree papers - super yum
Joanna Sheen fan die
La La Land - heart banner die

I'm still making cards for the fayre in June and have taken a leaf out of Flora's book and am using old stash. I have a shocking amount of Hunkydory kits about the place. I ought to be ashamed ;)

Up, up and Away!

Aww, this is such a fabulous stamp :) It's one of my favourites and perfect to use with the 'Up, Up and Away' collection from Nitwit Collections.
I'm trying to crack on with my cardmaking as I've somehow agreed to do a card stall at the School Summer Fayre. My daughter was VERY keen and is already deciding what to spend the profits on. Oh lordy - I really hope we make a few pounds!!

I've used:
LOTV - Patchwork Hot Air Balloon stamp
Nitwit Collections - Up, Up and Away collection
Memory Box cloud die
red gems
Coloured with Copics

Thank you so much for stopping by. Sending hugs, Jayne xxx

Midway reminder of Flower Power over at A Little Bit Crafty!

Ooops! V sorry for my belated post. I went for coffee with a mate this morning to celebrate both our birthdays - hers was Monday and mine is tomorrow. We stayed out longer than planned and then I just forgot to post.
I've used the QVC floral stamp again and teamed it with papers from the Nitwits 'Fine Linen' collection.
I hope you get the chance to join us this month.

Biggest of hugs, thank you for stopping by, Jayne xx

Fabulous florals!

Here's another card made with the fabulous Nitwit Collection 'Daffodil Joy'. I love these papers - they're 'happy papers!' I've teamed them up with a stamp I got years ago from QVC - but it doesn't have any make on it!  The lacy border and butterfly die cuts are both from Joanna Sheen.
I got my Summer clothes down from the loft. It's now freezing and chucking it down ;)  I've kept a couple of winter jumpers out ready for our Summer holiday in Wales!!!!

Big hugs, Jayne xx

Spaced Out!!

This little fella is one of my favourites from Lili of the Valley :) I have teamed him up with the papers and embellies from the Nitwits 'Spaced Out' collection.

I've resized the little aliens in their flying saucers and put them onto a strip of acetate to have then 'flying' in front of the card. I love this collection, the colours are so vibrant and the embellishments are just fabulous. I'm doing a summer fair in June and think that I might make a few cards with this combo.
Thank you for stopping by. Big hugs, Jayne x

Daffodil Joy!

I have a new favourite! The new Nitwit Collection release 'Daffodil Joy' is absolutely beautiful. I'm obsessed! And now I've worked out how to make these flower boxes on the Martha Stewart score board I'm away!

Super yum! Aren't these papers scrummy? I think I may have a paper problem!!

I used the Tim Holtz tattered flower dies and a couple of Woodware punches to cut the flowers. The faux buttons and the beautiful daffodil topper are all from the Daffodil Joy collection. The bow was cut using the Sue Wilson bow die :-)

I have a bouquet of flowers stamp that would look perfect with these papers so I'm going to try to colour that in between chasing my little munchkin around the lounge! She is nearly 9 months now and can crawl backwards at a real pace ;-)

Thank you for stopping by. I've got some craft CDs on ebay at the mo if you're interested! Hugs, Jayne xx

I did do a magnolia card but having looked at it, it's a bit pants so I've abandoned it!!! My offering, therefore, is this tag I made for the launch of some new Dreamees stamps.
I haven't made a tag before and they're trickier than they look ;)  Anyhoo, I loved the stamps = particularly the floral scroll I've stamped in black around the edges. It's one of those really handy stamps you'll use lots to 'finish' things off!! The stamps are on the Create and Craft website here.

I hope that you get the chance to join us this month - it's such a great challenge :)

Thank you for coming back! Hugs, Jayne xx

In the Garden over at Crafty Little Fairies.

We've gone monthly over at Crafty Little Fairies , so you've got plenty of time to join in! Our first monthly challenge is 'In the Garden'.

We are sponsored by the following:

Whoa! Five prizes for the five lucky winners! How could you not enter?

I confess that this card was thrown together quick sticks when I realised on Tuesday that I needed two cards for Thursday and I was still feeling rough from the sickness bug I had at the weekend (I'm not even going to go there - yeuch!).
In typical Jayne style, I am a little fuzzy on the detail! I am pretty sure that the image is an 'Anjelica and friends' stamp from Crafter's Companion. The papers are from the yummy 'Romance and Roses' collection over at Nitwit Collections. I have a new favourite (!) set of papers from them too - have you seen the Daffodil Joy collection. Ooh - go have a luck! Just ridiculously scrumptious :-)  I have made one of those pop up flower boxes using the papers and it's just super pretty. I can't get a decent photo of it but I'll post it anyway!
So, that's me for Crafty Little Fairies. I will be back in two ticks with my post for A Little Bit Crafty. When I've done that I'm off to watch Elementary with a nice cup of tea!

Thank you for stopping by, I ramble on and it's a miracle anyone comes back! Mwah, Jayne xxx
