Hello my lovely readers! How was your weekend? I so hope it was fabulous! I had a wonderful Weekend, starting with a much needed girls night with my sister, then shopping with my mom, sister and daughter on Friday, Saturday well last minute Easter stuff, and Sunday a lovely day at Church followed by two family get togethers, Easter hunting and more! To see a recap click here on yesterdays post!
And to start the week off right, I am so happy to have today's guest blogger...

Hi everyone! I'm Carissa and I love furniture transformations! I'm happy to be sharing a fun project with you today. Make sure to hop on over to my blog where I share even more makeovers, sewing tutorials, design tips, and other fun DIY projects.
I bought an Ikea LACK table to use as an art table last year but it just sat and sat over in the corner by itself taking up space and not being used. When Eliza had her friends over, I decided, hey, I could just paint this really quickly and they could get to drawing and having fun! I didn't have to use black because ANY Country Chic paint can be used as chalkboard paint! However, I love the look of the black when the kids color on it.
Before you add your wax, sealing the paint, the surface is perfect for drawing with chalk.
I've been doing furniture makeovers like crazy. In fact, this week I'm working on 2 more for you! I love working with Country Chic Paint!!! If you liked this, you will probably love these:
Wow Carissa your makeovers are fabulous! I have a few I need to do, and now I am really itching to do them after seeing how great yours turned out! And by the way, your kids are adorable!
Thank you so much Carissa for guest blogging today!
