Nostalgia

I have loved going through and getting out all the clothes Jenna wore when she was Ruby's age. It brings back so many memories from when Jenna was a baby. It blows me away that she was once that small and is now 3 1/2. In a way it makes me sad, because I'd love to go back to Jenna being this little again. The time goes by so fast.

I couldn't help it when I got this little pink jump suit out to try and re-create this picture of Jenna.

At times I think that these two girls look a lot alike. But looking at these two pictures, they couldn't look more different. Both are still stinkin' cute!

New Haircut!

Jenna's hair drives me crazy! It is so thin and stringy. All Jenna ever wants to have done to it is to have it curly. She won't let me do anything else to it. I love the curl. It makes it really easy to do. I just have to get it wet, brush it, and then scrunch. I'm still waiting for the top to thicken up and fill in. Because there isn't much on the top she starts looking like she has a mullet when it gets too long. So I decided to have my sister cut her hair off. I LOVE the results!

It is now so much easier to deal with! It looks so cute and it fits her personality perfectly! It also makes her look more grown up. I wish I would have thought to do this sooner.

A Night at Scheels

Jenna had been begging to go to Scheels to ride the Ferris wheel. I cannot recall how she came to know about the Ferris wheel, but it was all she would talk about for weeks. So, Saturday night we had nothing else to do so we went to dinner and then headed over. It is an understatement to say she loved it! I thought she would get pretty nervous at the top. Needless to say, I was more scared than she was! I held on tight and got nervous every time Jenna made the car swing even the slightest. I know, I'm a wimp.

3 months...

Where has the time gone! I can't believe that this little one has been with us for 3 months. So much has happened to her in her short life on this earth! She is definitely a trooper! We love her so much and are so grateful she has joined our family.
