I have been so caught up in Facebook that I have completely neglected my blog!! Thanks Ann :) No really...it has been AWESOME to see so many of my long lost friends in/out of the church I have run into-it truly amazes me! I am so looking forward to summer-the kids have actually gone swimming already! Too cold for me. I definitely have "spring fever"-I want to be outside all the time and can't wait to actually pull out the swimsuit and sunscreen! School is getting closer to the end, Tori's volleyball season is almost over and the long days of carpool definitely wont' be missed :)

Who is ready for the swim club!!!! Andrea, Ann, Lisanka, Susan, Wendy? I hope to see you all again in a couple of months-YEAH!!!

This is from Christmas 2007...one of Mark's 12 days of Christmas" present to me:) Definitely time for a new one-we have all changed soooo much;) This picture makes me laugh now when I look at it-when we picked them up, Lexi said, "Mommy, why are you orange?" to which I replied, "I am one of the oompa-loompas!" Yes, I look like I just got back from the Bahamas-where my family DOES NOT! Gotta love those Wal-Mart quality phot0s!!

I found Lexi's twin!!! Her name is Clarke and she is actually in Katelyn's class at school. The uncanny thing is...she has the same expressions and attitude as Lexi-very scary!!
So much for trying to keep up with my blog....so much has happened since I last made a post!! I will be so glad when Girl Scout Cookie time is DONE!! With 2 Daisy girls and 1 Junior Girl Scout-I have had my share of those yummy devilish things:) I do have to take a minute and give a "shout out"! I completed my initial training to teach RPM (spinning for those who do not have knowledge about Les Mills programs!). I did my first team-teaching class this past Tuesday morning and have 3 more to go. I am so hyped b/c I get to team-teach with my sister, Storrie!! She is an awesome teacher and a great motivator for me. I have been taking RPM classes 2-3 times a week for the past 2 and 1/2 years-so I decided to try teaching it myself! I LOVE IT-I AM ADDICTED!! For anyone who has never tried a cycling class-Just do it!! Yeah...you will be sore and you will have major "bikers-butt"! It is the one of the best classes at the gym I work at. Lisanka...I still want to come with you some time to "spinning" at the YMCA-that would be a blast!!

A Catastrophe turned good...

Last week while traveling home with 4 of my children (coming home from school pickup) we were broadsided by an woman, whom we later discovered had NO INSURANCE!! That was a real dissapointment knowing that we would probably not see our deductible returned. To make matters even worse...I went to the shop that had my car a few days later to get a book I had left in it. When I told the employee there what my car was and what I needed to retrieve from it, she informed me my vehicle was deemed a "total loss"!! I was shocked and horrified and thinking "this woman has the wrong vehicle"---infact I asked her a couple of times "my Kia Sedona?" See...we just purchased this car in July and got a fantastic deal on it b/c of a mistake in price on the dealer's part!! I was very sad to say the least. I cried all the way home with my few items I had cleared out of my van. I have to admit, I was very angry with this uninsured motorist that had caused all these problems for our family and had thought about if someone would have been hurt, how would she have to pay for that. It has taken great prayer to overcome those hurtful feelings toward her and realize that the most important thing to come out of this situation is that no one was hurt and that for reasons only Heavenly Father knows, this happened and we have something to learn from it. Fortunately, we did find another vehicle to meet our needs and it was less expensive!!

Well....here goes...my first experience with "blogging"!! I swore I wasn't gonna have time for this, but once I started "finding time" to view everyone else's, I thought "Hey-maybe it would be fun to have one of my own!!" I am married to quite a computer whiz so I am hoping he'll help me on alot of this...
