We celebrated New Year's Eve at home with some sparklers. Raleigh loved them and even made a heart! Our 2012 was filled with lots of love for our newest family member (Garner) and each other!

Day 364
Garner is becoming a pro at standing on his own! I'm sure it won't be too long before he starts taking some steps!
Raleigh is getting pretty good at her hulahoop. I love Garner in the background of this picture just watching!Friday, December 28, 2012
Day 363
Raleigh always wants me to take a picture of her when I take Garner's weekly picture. If we go to buy fabric she always wants to get some fabric for her "pictures." Well, she may be using Garner's fabric, but she got her picture!

Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus and enjoying time with family. Garner celebrated his 1st Christmas and caught on quick to opening presents even if it was one small piece at a time. He also preferred to play with the paper and boxes. As much as we try to avoid it happening every year, it looks like a toy store threw up in our house! I blame it on the grandparents! :) We started the morning off at home, headed to Jason's grandmothers house for lunch, came back home for a nap, and finally headed over to my parents for a "leftover" dinner. It was a fun, but busy day. I love being with family on Christmas, but I would really love to stay at home all day...I'm torn!
The tree with all the loot
Waiting patiently on mommy to get ready with the camera
Garner checking out Raleigh's slap bracelet...they're back in style!
A real princess microphone...this will be going upstairs!
Garner was having more fun playing with Raleigh's toys that she had already opened that Raleigh had to help him open his gifts!
My cute boy in his little tie I made...love him!
I think she knew it was a guitar from the shape of the box and the smirk on her face!
Garner loves his truck my parents got him and actually started walking around pushing it!
Raleigh loves her new shoes from Scott & Vivian...they don't have straps!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Day 359
Two little cuties playing in the empty bathtub (the only way you can stay dry when giving Garner a bath)!
Christmas Decorations and Christmas Eve
I LOVE decorating the house for Christmas! Some years it stays the same and sometimes I change it up a little. It just makes me happy! However taking it down doesn't make me happy. :)
Our new decoration this year...Little People Nativity
A new ornament for Garner's 1st Christmas
and a new one to remember our trip to Disney for Raleigh's birthday
I love this tree in our kitchen/sunroom...cards from friends, thankful tags, and homemade ornaments!
Homemade ornaments for this year...names of Christ
and the finished pompom ball (that Raleigh made while at Disney)
I love Christmas Eve especially when Jason takes off and we get to spend the morning and afternoon at home together! Raleigh and I made some cookies for Santa.
After naps we head over to my parents house to celebrate Christmas with all of daddy's family. We always have a good time just hanging out and talking. There are only a few gifts exchanged within each family so more time is spent on family and not gifts...I love it!
The two cousins ready for their 1st Christmas! Garner and Sawyer
Raleigh opening her gift from Todd & Cindy
Garner getting ready to tackle his gift
Some gifts take a little more concentration than others!
Vivian & Scott
Brianna, David, and Asa
Daddy & Johnny
Shelly
Hye Jeong & Brianna
Raleigh's flying Tinkerbell provided lots of entertainment for the night
Garner...our best gift this year!
When we got back home Raleigh & Garner got dressed in their Christmas pajamas and went off to bed!
Cookies & milk for Santa, carrots for the reindeer, and the note Raleigh made me write!
