Everything is expensive right now. It’s so stressful. This may take the cake. 5 dozen eggs used to be like $8. Today at Maceys they were $25. That is insane. Apparently there was some chicken flu and so the supply is down. Documenting cause I love to document.

Listen to a Prophet’s voice
Gideon had an amazing opportunity yesterday to go listen to our prophet, President Russell M Nelson, in person. He went with his best friend Alan and his family.
They left at 1 for a meeting that didn’t start till 6. They thought they’d have time to do a little picnic and hang out but when they got there hundreds of young adults had already started lining up. They ended up taking turns standing in line and going to the shade to eat.
One of the things that really made an impression on him was when they were sitting it was really loud. You had to lean over and talk right in the person’s ear sitting next to you if you wanted to hear. Without realizing why, everyone stood up and all of the sudden it was dead silence. All the chaos turned into reverence in an instant. He realized this change occurred when the leaders of the church walked in. He was so amazed by the change and feelings he had in that moment.
I’ve very grateful for an inspired church leader that felt he should address our young adults. The night before this Gideon was pretty down. He had some confusion and went to bed with low spirits. I prayed for Gideon to have a good experience and be touched by the spirit. I just want him to be happy and at peace. When he came home last night I knew my prayers were answered.

Isaac and Gideon at Pop class
Isaac and Gideon were asked to talk to the 8th grade class at Frontier middle school to talk to them about high school. The kids were able to ask them questions and the boys answered.
I loved listening to the boys and was very impressed how they held themselves. Their answers were nice and loud and thoughtful. They did such a good job.
