{My Alexa}
Miss Alexa needs a it of a shout out! She has grown up so much this past year, it is really sad some days to me but really exciting to her.
She is still doing so well in school. She is reading well beyond the average level and had completed pretty much all of her kindergarten requirements months ago.
She has also come a LONG way at dance. Last spring I let her try out for the competition team at her studio, not really thinking that she would make it. She did and she is getting really good. Her dance (I will post soon) is hilarious and she loves it.
She has also learned so much from church and she loves the read the scriptures and pray on her own. I caught her the other day praying to stop sucking her thumb. I have not seen her do it since unless it is for a second and she catches herself and quickly takes it right out. .?.?.? She is so proud of herself and it has been a great lesson.
We have FINALLY moved her into her new bedroom. She requested two beds so that she could have sleepovers with her cousins. She can't wait for the weekend to come so they can party!
Here is a sneak peek of the room!

Mr. G
I had to do a quick post about my little G-man!
He has learned so much this past 6 months being in preschool. He really cracks me up with the things that he comes home talking about. He gets to take a show and tell every day. For the first 4 months it was almost always his stuffed "BOLT" dog. They are pretty much inseparable. He has recently started branching out though. Last week when I picked him up, his teacher said, "I really loved Gavin's show-and-tell today". I looked at her puzzled and said..."The flashlight"? She said, "no, the babies binky". Apparently he had stolen the binky out of her car seat on the way to school and was a comedian when he showed the class. (No wonder I couldn't find it while I was walking around Target with an unsettled Gracie).
The best is when he talks about things that he learns at Church. On Monday during Family Home Evening, we were talking about Baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost. Greg asked the kids where the Holy Ghost was, Gavin looked at us with this sweet little grin and pat his hand on his heart and said, "Dad, he is right in here". This week at school they were learning about hearing with their ears. He whispered to his teacher and said, "I know what I hear with my ears... the Holy Ghost."
Wednesdays we do play group for both the girls and boys on the street. The girls play from 10-bus time and the boys play from 1-3pm. Nearly every time I pick him up the friend who hosts talks about how sweet Gavin is and how they just adore him. He really is such a good boy and so sweet and sensitive. I just love him so much!
